The Secret Origin of Orichalcum
Long ago, before the First Age of Man, before the Exalted were even created, Autochthon came to the Unconquered Sun and told him of a great need. The Gods, in their wisdom and benevolence, had decided that the corrupt and decadent Primordials must fall and had begun planning and plotting to bring the downfall of their fathers and mothers about. Autochthon worked to create and perfect the techniques of Exaltation. But there was the problem. How best to arm the Exalted when they were brought forth? The Unconquered Sun considered long and hard. His own spear and shield had been made from the substance of the Unformed Nothing by the will of his Primordial father. They were created at the same moment he himself was and they were as perfect as he himself.
In that moment, the solution came to Sol Invictus and he knew what he must do. He would provide his soon-to-be Choosen Warriors with weapons that could embody some small amount of the perfection that was his substance and form. So, with great determination, the great golden god took himself in hand and began to create.
For fourty days and fourty nights, without rest, the great Sol Invictus worked at his task until finally he believed he had reached the point at which he could deliver the material his Choosen Warriors would need.
Across Creation he dispensed his gift. Burning with the heat of the Sun himself, the new material fell across Creation's face and cooled slowly. The deposits of this material became the natural mines of Orichalcum that were used to arm the Solars of the First Age for their war against the Primordials.
The Secret Origin of Moonsilver
In the First Age, Luna loved her children almost as much as she loved the Games and her favor was upon them always. She cried with joy whenever an Exaltation came about and her tears became the Moonsilver that would be forged and molded into the unique tools for her newest Exalted Warrior.
But, in the Second Age, Luna's eyes have wandered from her Choosen and her tears did not come with each new Exaltation. The Lunars were unhappy, for they desired greatly the Moonsilver that came from Luna's tears. They resolved to take matters into their own hands.
With magic and Wyld mixed together, the sneaky No Moons shredded the Essence of their allies and twisted the Charms of the Lunars into weakness and savagery. The ruined state of her beloved finally stirred Luna's heart and brought her attention back to the Lunar Exalted she had neglected.
Now, each time a Lunar is Exalted, the Shining Maiden cries bitter tears of rage and sorrow for the ruination of her Beloved Choosen. These tears are the Moonsilver of the Age of Sorrows.

And what exactly about this origin is risque? Seems pretty tame to me. Maybe I am missing something? Jaelra
Did you get what the "material" is? I made it much more clear in the previous version. - Telgar
I like the subtlety in this version better, myself.
