Yozi Aspects For Dragonblooded Exalts

This page is the home for developing an idea spurred by Alienated_One on the White Wolf forums. The fact is that the Yozis are the elements in Malfeas, so a corrupted dragonblood could conceivably take on a Yozian (Sp?) Aspect.

Thematics for different aspects

This is just brainstorming at the moment so any feedback is more than welcome

Adorjan Aspect:

• burning wind powers,
• charms that scour away feelings, lies, etc.,

Cecylene Aspect:

• shifting sandlike powers of travel and movement
• shapeshifting
• altered perceptions
• mirages

Ebon Dragon Aspect:

• shadowy anima
• charms revolve around trickery and deception
• escape and subterfuge

Malfean Aspect:

• solidity and oppression
• charms restrict and trap enemies

Just thought I'd mention that I think this is a cool thought. Especially because, in my upcoming Signs of Conjunction game, all the Exalts have amplified curses, and the Wan Xian (my modern take on the Dragon-Bloods) have considerable demon-taint as their 'curse' supplement. I'll be watching this page fo' sho' :-D - Balthasar

Mm. I'd prefer to see a stronger KotE influence, as they've often struck me as Inferal Dragonbloodedd... - DS

I think that KotE works better merged with the silver Pact, myself - GoldenH

The Silver Pact has nearly nothing in common with KotE, what're you talking about? I am with DS on this. Right now, the Dragon-Blooded are showing a lot of links to the Wan Kuei. Some things of note:

• 10,000 Dragon-Blooded, 10,000 Demons
• Scarlet Empress and Ebon Dragon are both characters in KotE mythology.
• Mount Meru is as well.
• The Wan Xian helped slay ancient enemies of Heaven, but later became corrupt and evil themselves, damning themt o hell.
• Save with Air and Metal not really lining-up, all the Oriental elements are there for the counting to be corrupted. And the corpse elements in Abyssals actually line up mostly too.
• The various Dharms, IMHO, seem to fit the various descriptions of the Elemental natures fo the Terrestrials. I need to double-check, but I bet the Five Immaculates and thier philosophies line-up with the teachings of Xue.

And stuff. I could be wrong, but I think it probably should be base off of more vile corpse-elements or soemthing,r ather then the actual Malfeans. If anything, there is a set of new one sin Heresies of the Way I think.

Hi, I'm kinda new here, and I had an idea much like yours for corrupt Dragon Blooded. I like your Malfease Aspects, i hope you don't mind if I borrowed them for my own proposals. I linked them to their DB counter parts and dubbed them "Wyrm blooded" as they derive from some kidnaped elemental dragons. you know, the one that were imprisoned. so far i just have ability lists and anima powers for each Aspect. In most cases I stuck to the DB anima powers. I'd really appreciate your opinion, if you'd check out ToBE/WyrmBlooded and leave a comment with your input.

Hope you do some more work on this at some point, it's never sat well with me how rare Yozi aligned Dragon-Blooded seem to be and if Dunkatha's anything to go by they're perfectly capable of replacing a Dragon-Blood aspect with something else. Enchantress
