Actually, he is based vaguely on Seamus Zelazny Harper from Andromeda, being an uber-craftsman and all... If I'd called him Seamus or Harper the other PCs would have realised this immediately. As it is, they still haven't quite cottoned on - CorlanDashiva
Benedict and Gerard would be Dawn; Corwin would be Eclipse; Random would be Night; Fiona, Bleys and Brand would be Twilight... Dunno about Caine and Julian. Eclipse and Night? Also not sure about the other princesses. Flora would probably be Eclipse too. Llewella and Deirdre aren't really in the books enough to say.

Ikselam! I dispute your classifications! Here are the Amberites' Castes:
- Dawn: Benedict, Gerard
- Zenith: Bleys, Corwin, Julian
- Twilight: Brand, Fiona, Llewella
- Night: Caine
- Eclipse: Deirdre, Eric, Florimel, Random
Hum, I do prefer Corwin as an Eclipse than as a Zenith. Of course, there's few Zenith-y members of the Amber court. Julian maybe. Bleys has the charisma for it too, or he could be a Twilight like all the red-haired children. Florimel and Llewella are definitly Eclipse too. Deirdre could be either Dawn or Eclipse. But I prefer Random as a Night, and of course Caine is Night too. Gerard and Benedict as Dawn are not to be discussed. Eric could be Zenith, or Dawn, or Eclipse easily. Rinaldo is Eclipse. Merlin is Twilight. So is Mandor (or would that be Daybreak ? No Moon ?)
There is no way that Corwin is a Zenith. He's a mopey warrior-poet, not a righteous priest-king. As Etrangere notes, none of Oberon's brats are particularly Zenith-y.
