Release Date Questions
This page is here for folks with questions about the ExaltedReleaseSchedule. I have ommited some of the older comments, as they are a bit out of place right now and the questions are either already covered in the actual document, or they are personal opinions on books already out, or should be in other threads.
So with that, here's the page. Ask aways folks:)

Any chance to add a list of all products released by date ? thanks :)
I'd do that, but at this point, I've lost track of what came out when save for what months they came out in. If there's enough demand, though, I can see what I can do.

I'm trying to compile this over at the [[[WolfSpoor]]] library http://www.wolf-spoor.org/books.html for all products. I'm happy with just months if that's all you've got. Can always narrow things down when we find out more detail. IanWatson
Nice idea adding comments to the entries. Me likes. What's this about "Cult of the Illuminated"? Has anyone heard anything about it (and is there already a thread on RPG.net to subscribe to)? Concerning the videogame: Hasn't Interplay resurfaced in the meantime? Or are they out *again*? -X
- My understanding on Interplay is that they're hanging on by a thread. There was talk of them producing a Fallout MMORPG--which might be cool if it wasn't completely a last hurrah for some profit on their part--and not much else. I don't expect to even ever see that, so assume their other licenses aren't going anywhere unless they say specifically otherwise. _Wohksworth
- It looks like the Exalted video game will very likely go the way of Werewolf's, in that someone gets it, dies, and we gotta wait a few years before we hear of anyhting again. Good times that, huh? As for the Cult of the Illuminated book, I am waiting for the May onesheets or something possibly more definate being in the next Quarterly, though I expect more on Bone & Ebony then on the Illuminati to be honest.
- And well, stuff for now. Thanks for the comments folks:) Blaque
"Book on the North" ... maybe it's the "Cherak Book" from Outcaste? -X
- Very likely, but as is, I don't have much either way on it, so I'm going ot stick with them seperate until further notice. And stuff. Blaque
- "Book on the North" has been more properly identified as "Bastions of the North" on the White Wolf LiveJournal, and it's currently in development. [Sahajiya]
"Pillar of the Sun" was recently postponed to April 4th: http://secure1.white-wolf.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=628 -X
An "Infernals" Supplement was mentioned during the recent developers chat, but no confirmation was given. The cardgame was reported to come along "slowly but surely" (unfortunately, this happened direcly before the crash, so neither question nor answer appear in the official transcript). -X
- You know, I really hope they DON'T make an Infernals book. They might as well just print up a hardback book with pretty pictures on the ouside, but the inside is one page that says "Creation loses." in size-92 font. --Prions
Wolfspoor reports: "White Wolf Publishing has licensed the rights to a comic book series based on its successful roleplaying game Exalted to Toronto-based UDON Entertainment. The first issue in the series will be on comic book stands in October of 2005, and a special #0 issue comes out this summer." (http://www.wolf-spoor.org/Article702.html) Regards, -X
Sorry for the delay on updating the release schedule. I am currently out of town and all that good stuff )Osaka Japan, to be accurate. I:ll make sure to get to thinkgs while I:m here right now, but no garuntees on much updates until atleast next week.

- Cool! Have fun in Japan. I've taken the liberty of correcting the entry for "Bastions" (the explanatory text had been moved to the comic). From what I've heard, the new WW Quarterly doesn't hold much news for the likes of us, so nevermind rare updates.
- This is what I gathered from the White Wolf Forums: "Only three Exalted titles mentioned after August are Bastions of the North (supplement), the Carnelian Flame (fiction), Exalted 2nd Edition T-Shirt (um, shirt)." With bastions and the shirt already mentioned and no date given for the novel by the original poster, it means waiting for the digital edition of the quarterly anyway. -X
Fresh from the TCG mailing list: The Exalted card game will be released in 2007. However, this could be a typo in the mail, since it also mentioned "hot on the heels of Exalted 2nd". -X
- I got the e-mail too. I think I'm going to put it at "Sometime after Second Edition" for now. And stuff. Blaque
The official publication date for issue 0 of the comic may be the 7th, but I got it last week. P'raps you should remove it from the list as being "already published"? --MF
I picked up a copy of "Aspect book: wood" at Origins, was that a special convention thing then? - Malikai
- That is indeed correct. Often, companies print a few copies of a product as much as a month earlier hten usual. These are used to test to see how the final product work,a nd are given to authors, demo teams, and cons as much as a month early. I recieved Werewolf: the Forsaken a good month before it came out, for example, due to running demos for WW.

I thought I read somewhere that they were redoing the "worldbook" (i.e., Scavenger Sons) after 2nd Ed as a series of "Direction Books" - The Isle (center), The East, etc. Am I imagining things, or is this really happening? -- Hapushet
- Since I heard the books being based on the Realm and the Scavenger Lands, rather then "the East" or "Centre", I decided to just say that htey're book son these places until further notice. For all we know, the "Bastions of..." thing is going to be the default naming convention, but until I get more info, "Realm Book" and "Scavenger Lands Bok" work fine i think.

According to this ad (http://koti.mbnet.fi/titan/kuvat/Exalted2e.jpg) from the WWQuarterly, there'll be new dice and a character sheet pad to accompany EX2.
- Ooh, fancy-looking. I notice that they specifically mentioned "without invalidating past supplements". Good sign? - FrivYeti
- Depends on what they feel makes past supplements invalid. ;) I suspect most, if not all, of the old crunch will become useless. - David.
- David's prolly right. I see it more that things like Scavenger Sons or the first two chapter of Blood & Salt won't be invalidated. Don't expect the factory or magitech rules in Savant and Sorcerer, for example, or the Charmsets of the Terrestrials and Sidereals, to hold up too well. And stuff. Blaque
- That said, I imagine that many of the artifacts, hearthstones, and suchlike will port over easily enough. Given what little we know right now, I think I'd mostly just be a matter of changing (+X to an Ability) to add the same number of dice to the new Ability that seems appropriate, and altering the stats (weapons and armor, most notably) to suit the new system. Other things might not port over so well - depending on how the new "tick" system handles extra actions, things like the Gem of Perfect Mobility and the hooked daiklaves from CB:Night might not be so easily translated. - David.
The comic is now officially scheduled for a release on 11/01/05. Both foil and standard version can be preordered from the WW Online Shop. -X
In their online shop, WW gives exact dates for the upcoming second edition items: The core book, dice, the sheet-pad and the screen will all be available on the 13th of March. The ST companion is scheduled to hit the stree on the 27th of that month. -X
- Sorry for the delay. WIll change that right now. And stuff.

The book of sorcery is ("tentatively" I dare say, given the shifting of the EX2 releases so far) dated for 1st of May. Which is a holiday over here. So 'bah'.
- Some commenters seem to be under a slight misapprehension. The book that's coming out on May 1, "Books of Sorcery 1: Wonders of the Lost Age", is a book on magitech, not sorcery. The title indicates that it's part of a series called the "books of sorcery", which is admittedly misleading but there it is.
~ Shataina
- Of course it is - my reference before was to the entry on the top page. I imagined it was listed only as "Book of Sorcery", but the revision history says otherwise. Regarding the series title, it's allright given the content of Bo3C or S&S - both included artifice and warstriders as an essential part. Ah, and sorry for the anonymous edit before. -X
Blaque, what's your take on WWs Wiki? Will you move the release schedule page there? -X
