Bracers of the Sun's Cleansing Fire
Orichalcum bracers with inlaid White Jade filigree
Commitment Cost:5
These bracers are designed to resonate with the purity and majesty that are the ideal conditions of the Chosen of the Unconquered Sun. They are patterned after both Hearthstone Bracers and the Collar of Dawn's Cleansing Light, meant to evoke the glory of their wearer.
Powers:
- These bracers preternaturally sharpen the wearer's reflexes allowing them to react on a hair trigger and move like lightning allowing a 3 dice bonus to all dodge dice pools.
- Like the orichalcum Hearthstone Bracers on which their initial design is modeled after, these bracers increase the power of their wearer's attacks giving a +2 dice bonus to the damage dice pools of all armed or unarmed attacks the wearer makes
- The wearer of these Bracers and his clothing are kept magically clean and fresh at all times, any dirt, grime or liquid is expunged from his being and accoutrements instantly and he is thus kept looking his very best. Additionally, the bracers will automattically repair damage to his clothing as it occurs (but not enchanted clothing or armor of any kind). While wearing these bracers, the character is immune to any Social penalties for being dirty, grimy or unkempt. This is a perfect effect.
- A side benefit to the cleanliness and purity granted by the above power is that the wearer is more resistant to poisons and diseases. This grants a +2 dice bonus to Resistance dice pools for resisting disease and poison.
- Finally, these bracers have one Hearthstone setting per bracer that if these settings are not filled with a Hearthstone of some kind, are instead occupied by a large, Essence-generated, blue diamond that the bracers produce themselves from the Essence commited to them.

Comments
Not sure yet about the level of the Bracers, any suggestions on that or any other critique? -MadGreenSon
- What exactly does the blue diamond do?

- What exactly does the blue diamond do?
- It looks nice and keeps the socket from sitting there empty if ya don't have a Manse currently. -MadGreenSon
- the bracers are actually weaker than the items if you had them seperately, why would i want this artifact instead, which would cost the same exp or background dots at char gen? Eldmar
- Okay, fixed that. -MadGreenSon
