Delicate Orchid

by ShadoweaverRain

"The finest jewel nestled in a city of thieves, to be sure"
- Cynis Kotei, Esteemed Dragon Blooded Noble.

A harlot in the The Rose, Delicate Orchid is one of the most popular ... and expensive; trained in dance, song and conversation, she's also known for her preferential treatment. Her time is often just as expensive as taking a full time concubine for a month, but only allows for one night with her, much to Madame Naruko's delight.

One of the favorite presents that anyone has brought to her was a present from a Nexian man, who visits her from time to time, and was a Dragon's Pearl.

Delicate Orchid stands five foot four, her jet black hair held back by a pair of jade sticks, with two thin bangs framing her beautiful face. Her eyes seem deep as the void, and her voice like cherry blossoms on the whispering wind. She is usually wrapped in the finest silks, and has a smattering of jewelry, not the least of which is a black jade collar that bears green patterns on it.

Rumours

  • Delicate Orchid has been seeing a man about every month who believes her to be a seer. He stays long enough for her to divine his future, pays her madam and leaves.
  • Visiting members of House Cynis have started to enjoy Orchid's company more and more. It is said she will be bought from the Madam soon.

Secret

  • Delicate Orchid is a Demon-Blood, child of Mara. She bears the Mark of Infernal Favor, the only one her Mother ever bestowed. She also has recieved the Ordination of Lies and uses her job at the Rose to gather any secrets she can to aid her mother in anything she may require.

Shouldn't this have another rumour? ;)

But there are two rumors! In case you can't see them, I'm using Mozilla Firefox. They show up fine. - MelWong
Sorry, just being dumb again. There's no rule about the quotations, right?

I think the quotations are just a general stylistic bit that somehow managed to become semi-ubiquitous. Blame memetic spread! -- AntiVehicleRocket
It says in the comments on the main page {Edit: now the Old Comments section} that the quotes were not a part of the original format, but MelWong startd including them and they gained popularity. There's no rule. -Okensha
