Perfect Jade Coin was the seventh son of a seventh son in Coral. His father, Sparkling Rain, was a sailor and an unrepentant cheat, gambler and womanizer. The problem was that he was bad at all three of them. His mother, Sweet Flower, was a whore who'd taken pity on Sparkling Rain, and gotten stuck with seven children, each worse off than the last. Perfect Jade Coin thusly spent 13 years of his life hopping between gambling dens where he had to drag his father home before he bet off his children, whorehouses and the street gutters. But, in contrast to his father, Perfect Jade Coin was a Gambler. It seemed that his bets rang up nothing but pure jade, and the boy managed to keep a happy life, if somewhat abused as the money-making machine he was by his parents.
His father's dearest friend, Four-Fingers Niklos, a Water-aspected outcaste, took Perfect Jade Coin in and taught him how to gamble right. By his 15th year, Perfect Jade Coin had won more money than his father had ever had to bet, and lived a layabout gambling lifestyle that suited the young lad just fine. Then the strings of fate were tugged, the soul of one of the eldest of the Gold faction awoke in his heart, and Perfect Jade Coin didn't want anything to do with it. He resisted and struggled but was finally dragged to Yu-Shan by the Sidereal Exalted. While the boy showed a certain degree of innate talent for his role in the Cerulean Lute of Harmony, and seemingly had no problems with the role of destiny's agent in Creation (after all, altering fate was a lot like cheating, and he knew how to cheat), the idea of combating the Realm's true masters and assisting the Solar Anathema in taking back the thrones of the Realm, filled the little punk with a deep gnawing fear which he dared not speak to the zealots around him.
Perfect Jade Coin has thus far managed to keep a low profile in Yu-Shan, and his status as one of the Gold faction is more a honorary consideration, as he hasn't said he isn't part of the Gold faction yet. His duties in Creation have thus far been a) protecting the stability of the Loom of Fate, b) assisting any Gold faction members that find their way to the Coral archipelago and helping any Solar Exalted find their way into the Gold faction's helpful arms and c) acting as a Heavenly shill for Plentimon of the Dice, making sure others watch him win at horribly rigged gambles so that the game is kept alive.
Out of all his duties, Perfect Jade Coin likely enjoys the last the most.
Acquaintances : The regulars at the Diving Sea Snake, Plentimon of the Dice's casino in Mantaville
Allies : Four-Fingers Niklos, Water-aspected outcaste, Perfect Jade Coin's former mentor and now peer.
Artifact : Starmetal hearthstone bracers (Chance & Fortune)
Celestial Manse : One of Plentimon of the Dice's small gambling houses in Yu-Shan, unopen most of the year, and so serves as quarters while in Heaven.

What is his Artifact? And why has he Thrown (Dice +2), isn`t Thrown a Combat Ability? - Vampir
- If I remember straight, his artifact was a pair of starmetal hearthstone bracers. As for the dice, the guys below say it. It's all about style, really. He's the kind of guy who'd fight with dice just to shame the dweebs who'd try picking a fight with the demi-god of gamblers.
- Who says you can't kill someone with a dice? ^_^ -- Xarak
- Yeah! Haven't you ever played Final Fantasy 6? Setzer throws a mean set of dice... -Everyl
