Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: None
The Lunar can engrave or otherwise mark an item so it is immune to the chaotic effects of the wyld, an untamed Demesne, or another source of shapechanging. If used on a shaped object which the Lunar is committing motes to keep the form of, such as those created with Shaping the Once-Living Form and Weapon-Shaping Method, it frees the commitment and makes the shaped object permanent.
Holding the Heart of Light
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower, 1 health level
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Tatoo-Cutting Wisdom
Creating a pattern over her forehead from her own flowing blood, the Lunar engraves it on his current Form, and locks her Shapeshifting away until she decides to shift this Form. This Form may be one from his Blood Library, a non-true form, and she will remain upon it until her iconic anima flares, holding its stability on the heart of the silver pyre. Her anima still does flare, and even if the Lunar is using Charms to pretend to use another Exalt's anima banner, she will still shine silver during her iconic flare. If the Lunar is trying not to be noticed, one may try to decode the tatoo by rolling Wits+Lore with a difficulty equal to the Lunar's Occult.

Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3

Essence-Hardening Mark
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Form-Fixing Method
The Lunar weaves further tatoos on his flesh, but they change their hue considerably from silver. Those tatoos form a weave of Moonsilver around the Lunar’s Essence, hardening his body and soul. The character adds his Essence to his bashing, lethal, and aggravated soak totals; this counts as natural soak in all forms. In addition, he gains hardness equal to his Essence versus all forms of damage; this hardness explicitly stacks with any other hardness he may have.
Moon-Chasing Chrysanthemum Pattern – by Quendalon
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Form-Fixing Method
With this Charm, the Lunar attunes her tattoos to the Essence that flows through the fabric of Creation, allowing her to draw upon that force with greater ease. The character's natural Essence regeneration rates are all doubled. This includes Essence regeneration from relaxation, Manses, Demesnes and Hearthstones. The character may even absorb Essence from a Manse or Demesne she is not attuned to; she regenerates four motes of Essence per level of unattuned Manse or Demesne per hour.

Silver Calibration Marking – by FourWillowsWeeping
Cost: 10 motes, 1 Willpower, 5 experience points
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Lighting Essence Infusion
This Charm permits a Lunar to inlay moonsilver tattoos into any living being, fixing its form. This has the same benefits as Caste tattooing for Lunar Exalted, but it only constrains the target's physical form, not the shape of his spirit. It constitudes a perfect defence against effects that change the target's shape, and costs 5 experience points to affect most unexalted targets. To affect an Exalted target, these tattoos must be made of moonsilver alloyed with the Magical Material the Exalt harmonizes with, and costs 10 experience points.
This Experience must be paid by the Lunar and the tatoo's beneficiary. Non-Lunars cannot hide the tatoos with Shapeshifting Magic, and have to use their own, less perfect resources to do so. This can be bought at character creation as an Artifact *****. At the Storyteller's discretion, if the beneficiary is a player, he may have to play the Experience himself, instead of the Lunar. This Charm takes several hours and must be performed under the light of the Full Moon.
Divine Fire Marking
Cost: 8 motes, 1 Willpower, 1+ experience points
Duration: Varies
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Silver Calibration Marking
More than fixing one's form, a Lunar can draw in one's flesh the markings of power and magic, patterns of words and codes that open the gates for great power. Using this Charm, a Lunar can inscribe in one's flesh tatoos that work as Artifacts. Those Artifacts must make sense as tatoos(they may not be external weapons or props like Wings of the Raptor, and may not be armor any heavier than Light, and nothing that possesses a Repair rating) and take the normal time to be created, and all usual Charms that aid in their Creation still apply, although the ingredients need to be melt with the Magical Materials as metallic ink.
The recipient of the tatoos can do other things in the meantime, as long as she takes a few hours every week to have them inscribed, but if she is hurt down to her -2 Health Levels it cuts by half the work already done in the tatoos, and if she is hurt down to her -4 Health Level, then the work is completely lost. This Charm costs 1 Experience Point per level of the artifact, and has doubles its cost when applied to non-Lunars. The motes remain committed for the duration of the work.

Spirit-Scenting Technique
Cost: 3 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 2
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: None
By means of this Charm, the Lunar can perceive spirits in the immediate vicinity, gaining an approximate idea of their forms and actions. Devil-Restraining Grip
Cost: 6 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Scenting Technique
Using the Devil-Restraining Grip, the Lunar can immobilize a spirit with a snare of Essence, binding it to her as if on a leash. If the spirit is dematerialized, she can drive it into the realm of the material world, and once the spirit is in physical form, it is prevented from materializing. The Lunar rolls Intelligence or Manipulation+Occult, with a difficulty equal to the spirit's Permanent Essence, The spirit must be within (the Lunar's Essence x10) yards. If the Lunar suceeds, the spirit may not move further than its Essence trait in yards from the Lunar and must materialize, even if it does not possess the Charm. If it does not have enough essence to materialize, it is drained from the Lunar's reserves. If both lack the essence, this Charm is wasted. The spirit may attack the Lunar freely once material, but every success beyond that needed to ensnare the spirit imposes a -1 penalty for all the spirit's actions. The snare is set in place for the rest of the scene. This Charm may be placed on combos despite its non-instat duration.
Shadow-Catching Maelstrom
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Devil-Restraining Grip
Using the Shadow-Catching Maelstrom, the Lunar can immobilize all spirits in the vicinity with a snare of Essence, binding it to her as if on a leash. If the spirits are dematerialized, she can drive it into the realm of the material world, and once the spirit is in physical form, it is prevented from materializing. The Lunar rolls Intelligence or Manipulation+Occult, affecting all spirits within(the Lunar's Essence x10) yards, with a difficulty equal to the spirit's essence(The Lunar may suceed against some and miss others). If the Lunar suceeds, the spirits may not move further than its Essence trait in yards from the Lunar and must materialize, even if it does not possess the Charm. If they do not possesses essence to materialize, they simply do not, and the charm is wasted. The spirist may attack the Lunar freely once material, but every success beyond that needed to ensnare the spirits imposes a -1 penalty for all the spirit's actions. The snare is set in place for the rest of the scene. This Charm may be placed on combos despite its non-instat duration.
Breath-Drinking Executioner Attack
Cost: 1 mote
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Devil-Restraining Grip
The death of a creature releases her body's essence, which becomes her lower, or 'animal' soul. By means of this Charm, the Lunar might trap this Essence and consume it for his own needs. Upon killing a foe, the Lunar activates this Charm, and rolls a die - the result is how many motes of Essence the Lunar regains. The Lunar may employ this charm no more than his Stamina times per turn, but he has no limit to the number of motes he can drink. The Exalt may not exceed his maximum temporary Essence with this Charm.

Devourer of Divinity's Light
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Maiming Essence Attack
Lunars can drink the shape of any material creature and attain their form. Beasts, Men, Chosen, even Primordial Behemoths are theirs to consume... but not the beings of the spirit world. Raw essence in a facsimile of flesh, their blood is useless to a Moonchosen... but their soul is not. Devourer of Divinity's Light enhances all Lunar attacks that can permanently destroy spirits. When they are successful in vanquishing them, the Lunar receives a number of motes equal to the sum of the Spirit's Virtues, which are received as if the Lunar had just spent as many, in an impressive anima flare(the Lunar can choose to not to receive those motes!)!
In addition, the Lunar may drink their soul's shape. This can be done with all sorts of Spiritual and Wyld-Spawned creatures, but may not take the shape of Primordials. The Lunar pays Experience Points equal to the Spirit's Essence Rating, and permanently receives his form in his Blood Library. The Lunar receives none of the being's Charms, but all of its physical attributes, appearance and innate abilities(such as Berengiere's Landslide, Octavian's Oil and Gumela's range) are given to the Lunar.
Fury of Heaven's Warden
Cost: 8 motes, 1 willpower, 1 health level
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Maiming Essence Attack
Covered in the essence of the physical world, the Lunar's hands and eyes shine red in tooth and claw. Around him, a great image of his totem appears, not as an anima, but overlapping almost as armor. The blood-red natural essence burns around its eyes and limbs as well, and the Lunar's eyes and weapons shift to accomodate this essence, leaking blood-red trails of vapor as his body creates and burns the utterly physical, living essence. With that, the Lunar takes the shape of the Warden of Heaven in all its fury. In this form, the Lunar is inimical to any and all spiritual beings. He may damage them as though they were materialized, his strikes with natural or moonsilver weapons deal aggravated damage, and he rolls Intelligence+Essence - the number of successes adding directly to the base damage of all of his attacks during the scene. Spirits killed by this attack are gone forever, and while this Charm remains active, all Spirits are aware of his presence, and all social pools with spiritual beings start at 0 before charms - it is a declaration of war.
Essence
Terrestrial Circle Sorcery
Cost: 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: None
As Celestial Exalted, Lunars can easily learn the simplest forms of altering Creation's Essence to their whims, reaching the Terrestrial Circle. Note that invoking this Charm only enables the character to cast a single Terrestrial Circle spell. The actual spell itself has an Essence cost, often very high, that the character must pay to actualize the spell. This cost is listed on the spell's description. Terrestrial Circle Sorcery may never be part of a Combo.
Pulse of the Invisible
Cost: 6 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Intelligence of the Moon-Kissed
Using this Charm, a Lunar can adapt his senses to detect the flows and patterns of Essence in the world around him, as well as any dematerialized spirits present. The Exalt can instinctively sense the direction and strength of flows, as well as the locations of power of loci such as Manses and Demesnes. Ascertaining more detailed information requires a Perception+Occult roll. A single success grants the Lunar basic information about the examined essence, such as identifying the nature of a sorcery or the general geomancy of a region, while additional successes provide more in-depth and specific information.
Primordial Fire Harmony
Cost: 4 motes per spell, 1 willpower
Duration: Indefinite
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Terrestrial Circle Sorcery, Moon-Chasing Chrysanthemum Pattern
With his knowledge of the flows of essence and the shape of all essence, the Lunar chooses a particular pattern of essence he knows, and engraves a tatoo in his flesh that resonates with it, shifting their internal geomancy to something that fills the gaps as he weaves, making the weaving of the pattern faster, more sure. The Lunar may commit 4 motes of Essence and name a spell – as long as the motes are committed, the spell has its weaving time cut in one turn. Terrestrial Sorcery is woven instantly, and Celestial Sorcery takes one turn to weave. The Lunar may not choose more spells than his Permanent Essence for this.
Celestial Circle Sorcery
Cost: 2 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Primordial Fire Harmony, Pulse of the Invisible
The pinnacle of Lunar Sorcery, even the No Moons reach it with hardship, and for all other castes, it is a odyssey in and of itself. The first spell is invariably cast during the New Moon, as the Lunar's anima reaches and becomes the Moonlight for miles. Note that invoking this Charm only enables the character to cast a single Celestial Circle spell. The actual spell itself has an Essence cost, often very high, that the character must pay to actualize the spell. This cost is listed on the spell's description. Celestial Circle Sorcery may never be part of a Combo.
Chaos of Emerald and Sapphire
Cost: 6 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Pulse of the Invisible, Terrestrial Circle Sorcery
The Lunar is able to shift more than his flesh – but also the flows of essence are little more than woven, shaped in a specific form. With this Charm, the Lunar is able to interfere in another’s sorcerous shaping, turning the construct of essence in a beast ready to devour the opponent. The Lunar may activate this Charm when he touches a spell being cast – he has to be able to touch it, physically. Then he then makes an opposed roll of his Intelligence+Occult against the caster’s. If the Lunar wins, the opponent is considered to have botched his roll to hold the spell together, and has to deal with all of the horrible consequences of it. The Lunar has shifted his body to the chaos of the essence around him, and flows with it - not only is the Lunar immune to the consquences, but he can move away a number of yards equal to the Spell's mote cost. This Charm is only effective against spells of a Circle that the invoking Lunar has the ability to cast, and it fails against spellcasters with a higher permanent Essence rating than the Lunar.
Breaking the Shape of Divinity
Cost: 8 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Chaos of Emerald and Sapphire
The No Moon Caste possesses the ability to shape essence as if it was their own bodies. Against them, no construct of raw essence is a perfect weapon. The Lunar's caste mark burns the color of the essence construct he faces as the Lunar shifts the harmony of his essence to it. With a touch(after a successful Brawl or Martial Arts attack or parry by the Lunar - this cannot trigger on a successful parry by the defendant, as the Lunar is directed, and does not have a hold in it), the Lunar can then change the construct one of the following ways:
- Snuff it out entirely. Sentient Essence Constructs may pay 1 willpower and 1 health level to negate it.
- Shift and redirect it - in the case of an essence weapon, the Lunar may make an attack with it, against its owner or any target within its range. In the case of an essence armor, the Lunar may attack its wearer with an Intelligence+Occult roll, with the armor's soak value as its damage rating, in an attack that can only be defended with Resistance charms and natural soak. The owner of the Essence Construct may pay 1 willpower to cancel the charm before such use, however.
- Absorb it, gaining a number of motes equal to the cost to activate the charm. Many Lunars do so by placing their jaws on the construct and literally eating it. The owner cannot cancel his construct the same manner as above. Sentient Essence Constructs may still pay 1 willpower and 1 health level to negate it.
Field of Primordial Madness
Cost: 15 motes, 2 willpower, 2 health levels
Duration: Intelligence in Turns
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Breaking the Shape of Divinity
The Lunar changes his essence... harmonizing it with the world. He opens the gates to pure change and madness within him, and the world around him echoes it in turn. Around him, essence changes and shifts. The world begins to change in the essence of nightmares and dreams and moonlight. Shadows become windows to the Lunar's soul, and within their own essences, all can feel the shadow of the Lunar's. The Lunar's chaotic essence fills an area of (Essence x10) yards. The chaos of this area hinders those within in a variety of ways...
- Within, all creatures that oppose the Lunar suffer an enviromental penalty equal to his Essence in dice to all their physical actions.
- Within, The Lunar may also take Shaping Actions within the Field, as if he had Graces equal to his corresponding Virtues.
- Within, the very nature of Essence works differently, unable to hold a proper shape. Charms that would last for a scene last only One Turn, and that goes for all scene-length charms currently working in the Charm's area, which only works for one more turn after the Field of Primordial Madness is used before needing to be renewed. This includes Sutras. Charms with the Duration of One Day or greater have their Duration measured in a number of turns equal to their owner's essence, in turns. Charms of Instant Duration work as normal, their essence not lasting long enough to be twisted. The Lunar's own Charms have their durations affected by Field of Primordial Madness, with the exception of the Field itself, of course.
The Health Levels used to power this Charm are committed. During the Primordial War, this Charm had a different, longer path to its enlightement, and saw much use in countering the World-Shaping of the Primordials.
One With the World
Cost: 15 motes, 1 willpower, 2 health levels
Duration: Until Abandoned
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 7
Minimum Essence: 7
Prerequisite Charms: Field of Primordial Madness, Harmony with Reality Technique
Sinking his feet into the ground, the Lunar expands his Anima to the iconic level, and lets it soak in the world around him. An area of the Lunar's Essence x100 is filled with the glow of the Lunar's anima, images important to the Lunar appearing in all shadows and reflective surfaces. The whole area becomes the Lunar - much like a Primordial, the Lunar becomes greater than a single being. He becomes part of the world. It is all his body, and his soul. The Health Levels used to power this Charm are committed, but as long as this Charm lasts, the Lunar may not leave the area, but within it, the Lunar...
- ... can sink into the ground as a Simple Action, moving like blood, multiplying his movement rating by his permanent essence.
- ... may take Shaping Actions within the area as if he had Graces equal to his Virtues...
- ... converting a number of dice equal to Manipulation in automatic successes to those Shaping Rolls.
- ... gains twice his Essence in -0 Health Levels.
- ... doubles all stunt-dice earned within, as well as all rewards for stunts.
- ... and finally, receives a connection to the land. The Lunar can see throughout this whole area, as if he was standing there, able to roll Perception+Awareness as a dice action to feel any part of the area with any of his senses(one per success). He knows the land lives or dies on his existence, and thus, may always channel Compassion and Conviction while this Charm is in effect, and their bonuses are converted to automatic successes instead of dice, always.
When the Lunar is hurt, the area responds accordingly, and a Lunar destroyed while connected to the area leaves only barren ruins.
