Maimed Dragon Form TerrestrialMartialArts interpretation of Telgar, by FourWillowsWeeping
- Cost: 5 motes
- Type: Simple
- Duration: One Scene
- Min. Martial Arts: 4
- Min. Essence: 2
In mastering this Form, the maimed dragon has recovered his prowess, but his habits of caution still limit him. The martial artist gains a confidence bonus to all his actions. This confidence bonus starts at zero. For each full dice action (normally, a character has one of these in a turn) that the martial artist uses only to make Martial Arts punch attacks, kick attacks, parries, and Dodge actions, add 1 to the confidence bonus. If the martial artist's Charm for the turn is not a Charm of this Style, or if he takes any other dice actions, then the confidence bonus is reset to zero. The confidence bonus cannot exceed the adept's Martial Arts + Essence; it is also explicitly limited to the practicioner's natural ability to add dice to actions via Charms.
For the purposes of this Charm, Dragonblooded do not consider Reflexive Charms to be their Charm for the turn, under any condition. The reflexive actions granted by the persistent defences of Celestials do not disrupt the confidence bonus; this is a clarification, not an exception. This is a Martial Arts Form-type Charms and is incompatible with other Forms, weapons, and armour.
