Okay, here's the deal. At the beginning of each theme, someone picks a stone, either from the Wiki or a book. Each person then picks one of the five directions and designs a manse which could appear within that direction of Creation and produce the stone in question. Once all five directions have been done, someone picks a new Stone and it begins anew. This was Willows' idea, btw. -- [[Charlequin]] | Okay, here's the deal. = Stone of Ghost-Lines
A round gray-white stone with green and black veins. The stone or its setting may be used to draw lines that impede the passage of ghosts. It is a level 2 Earth Stone.

Salt Stone Manse -Miles
- West
The Salt Stone Manse sits on a giant sandbar North of Onyx appearing to be an abnormal lump until someone comes near to it. Upon closer inspection one can see that this manse is of almost a bright white with thin green lines running horizontally. The external structure of the building is made of adamantine glass with salt and lines of algae embedded within. Inside during daylight the light is a dim green grey and flickers as if one is under the sea. Along the outside walls are small rooms which have forgotten their purpose and are empty except for rust and decayed wood that the salt and sea air have claimed. In the center is a lightly glowing pedestal of peach colored salt, the glow most likely coming from some left over old world artifice still glowing dimly buried within the salt. In this center chamber are rings of salt in grooves on the floor radiating out from the center. The first couple of rings are broken in a couple of areas but the center few are still intact. During the night a number of spirits works to try to interrupt the lines of salt, moving cautiously between the broken circles to try their hand at the remaining defenses. text goes here
Locked Gate Unfaithful ~WillCoon
- North
The thin, cracked stone spire of this manse is often barely visible amidst the swirling snow-laden winds of Last of Thirteen, the unknown, isolated town over which it silently watches. The manse, the town around it, and the wall encircling all, are of a uniform, gray construction, covered always in white. The few people one might see out of shelter are all moving swiftly towards another building, wrapped tightly yet shivering all the same. The only exception is the one who inspects the thick, forboding wall - this one always moves slowly and meticulously, but the nature of their inspection is not clear. The entire population of the town, about two thousand in all, daily visits the manse itself, as though for religious services. The outside of Last of Thirteen's stone walls are covered in deep claw-marks.
Desert Flytrap Blossom ~WillCoon
- South
The manse consists of three connected glass towers overlooking a steep cliff. It is outfitted luxuriously, and staffed by a number of ghosts who look somewhat out of place within it. They would gladly leave, but the manse builder, rather than having the manse maintain itself with its own resources, gave it the power to entice ghosts to enter, prevent them from leaving, and bind them to service. The Dragon-Blooded owner finds it quite a pleasant place to entertain small groups of visitors, as long as the staff keeps out of the way.
Most Resplendant Pyramid of Warding ~Darloth
- Centre
At the centre of an immaculate temple some distance to the north-east of Arjuf, this simple four-sided pyramid looks rather uninspiring from the outside. However, it is in reality a useful and often-praised manse-design, and many high ranking visitors have been shown around the temple's highly successful experiment. Along with various geomantic rituals performed elsewhere in the temple, the cris-crossing lines of salt inset into the inner walls of the hollow pyramid throw a gigantic warding over the surrounding 10 miles, and salt will burn and fall from the diagram whenever a ghost passes from the underworld to that of the living, enabling the holder of the hearthstone (currently one of the higher ranking monks at the temple) to locate, trap, and reeducate them in the folly of influencing the living within record time. Various superiors within the order are investigating the possibility of enlarging the effect by geomantically adjusting larger sections of the landscape, but thus far their progress has come to nothing.
Grove of Blessed Flourishment ~ArabianNinja
- East
North of the Maruto River, in the land held by the Ten Tribes lies the Grove. A Manse built within a cave, but still able to reveal the sky above. Its ground laid with soft moss covered stone, as delicate as velvet. Its interior is wholly simplistic, but entirely elegant in its perfected nature, the furnishings, despite being made of stone, are as if grown to fit those who dwell within perfectly. In its centre is a stone fountain from which a tree grows bearing sweet and delicate fruit. When the hearthstone grows, it does so in a small knot within the tree itself. The place so suffused with the flow of life not one ghost dares tread within, and even in the underworld, ghosts walk clear of its mirror.
