Luna Hides Her Face - A campaign by SabreCat

One bright-eyed, idealistic, justice-minded Solar blonde.
One grumpy, cynical, vengeance-driven Lunar sorcerer.
A corrupt Realm full of wanton, bullying breeder Exalts.

Add a dose of romantic comedy...
...some amnesiac flashbacks to the fall of the First Age...
...a convoluted cast of misguided wretches from base mortals up to Celestial Exalts...
...and Fair Folk to taste...

...and you have hijinks that might just explain why Luna turns her face from Creation half of every month!

Characters

NPC Graveyard, for posting stats of dead or decommissioned GM characters.

Beware: highly entertaining large character sheet images ahead!

Shining Blossom Empress, a cheerful Dawn Caste gladly taking up the mantle of a hero of the Unconquered Sun, out to take the Realm down a peg. Has inherited her predecessor's hots for Lunar spouse Shadow Weaver.
Shadow Weaver, a surly, snarls-at-shadows Full Moon Caste who would really rather be out hunting Raksha in the Wyld, but has undertaken the battle against the Realm for his own reasons. Vehemently rejects his past life's memories and attachments... or tries, at least.

Transcripts

"Raw" or "Unedited" links include all the in-character text from a session of play. "Edited" contain highlight moments bridged by summary and commentary. "Remix" links, if those two weren't enough choices for you, are players' own independent edits of a session.

Unless otherwise noted, Shining Blossom Empress's player created all artwork.

Prelude: Wyld Encounter Unedited / Edited / SBE Remix
Wherein we drop in on our two intrepid heroes, and see a bit of the dynamic between them.
Session 1: Trouble in Greyfalls Unedited / Edited / Artwork of Session 1
Wherein the tangled situation in the streets of Greyfalls comes to light.
Session 2: Marketplace Brawl Unedited
Wherein our heroes make their presence known by provoking an Earth Aspect, Cathak Stone Raiment, into battle in the market.
Session 3: Games of Control Unedited / Artwork of Session 3
Wherein the two Celestials flee pursuit by demonic spies, and browbeat Tradewind Wanderer, an Eclipse Solar, into submission in Essence-slinging social combat.
Session 4: Unlikely Alliance Unedited
Wherein a shopping excursion leads to a surprising encounter with an Ornamental Raksha named Wisdom of Shattered Fate.
Session 5: Bedlam Sonatina Unedited
Wherein the heroes witness the Governor leading Stone Raiment's funeral procession, and do furious battle with Tradewind Wanderer.
Session 6: Resplendent Memory Crisis Unedited
Wherein our reincarnated lovers flee Greyfalls to dispose of evidence, and confront each other spectacularly about their memories of the Usurpation.
Session 7: Myriad Allegiance Unedited
Wherein we abort a visit to the capitol, instead meeting Cathak Landrin, a deeply conflicted ex-outcaste.
Session 8: Capitol Crimes Unedited
Wherein Auditor Orodan and his goons accuse Landrin of treason, leading to a bloodbath in the halls of Greyfalls' seat of governance.

This is magnificent fun! Hope this continues (so there'll be more transcripts) ... ;) --Dakkareth

Thanks for saying so! I'm confident we'll at least get to close out the Greyfalls situation, as these players are notoriously tenacious. We'll see after that whether or not they're interested in a second scenario.

Out of curiosity, since you're the only one (besides my own players) I know to have read anything here: how much of the content's been useful to you? Just the edited transcripts? The unedited ones? Sorry to be such a pollster, I'm just trying to figure out what people actually find interesting. I've never done play reports for anything before. --SabreCat

I find this all greatly amusing. I look forward to more. Had a few dastardly ideas to throw at my Solars who take amnesia, because eternal vow + lunars = fun - ArabianNinja

It's all entertaining to read. 8) -ScrambledValkyrie
