Ralph'Malfeas, The You'll See, and the Devious Demonesses

Intro

At the end of the war between the Not Fun at All and the forces of the Goddesses and Exalts, the surviving Not Fun at All were forced to swear an oath on their names which bound them inside the most useless of the Not Fun at All, Ralph'Malfeas. He was reshaped into a giant city which would bind the Not Fun at All forever. If that wasn't enough, Cecil'B'DeMille's entire body of epic film was wrapped around Ralph'Malfeas, forming an invincible wall of high budget classical-era epics.

Only the use of Sorcery can release the demons who serve the Yozis, though their Exalted servants, the Devious Demonesses are free to go back and forth, and do so in order to cause trouble.

Ralph'Malfeas

Imagine Newark as built by Escher, Giger, Bosch, and an army of Cubists.

The You'll See

Twenty Three of the Not Fun At All are bound away inside Ralph'Malfeas. Well, technically, 21, with Ralph as #22 and Cecil as #23.

Each of them has a group of Flunkies which related to it in a way we will never clearly explain, each of which is a Third Clique Demon. If the most important of these, it's Sub-Boss, is slain, the You'll See reconfigures into a new form, even more annoying than before. Each Third Clique Demon has seven Flunkies, who make up seven aspects of its being. They are the Second Clique Demons. Each Second Clique Demon has a vast horde of ugly, freakish hanger on species who it has spawned or just can't get to go away. Ever. These are the First Clique Demons.

Magical Girls can summon the First Clique. Helping Goddesses and Lunars can summon the Second Clique. Bishonen and Gothic Lolitas can summon a Third Clique demon if they enjoy being suicidal.

The You'll See want to escape Ralph'Malfeas, as they are BORED SICK OF HIM. But they must use mortal pawns, such as the Devious Demon(esse)s to escape.

  • Zeus, Master of Shapeshifting Sex, Horny Soul of Mashara, The Sky That Ruled the Land.

Notable Second Clique Demons

  • Dionysius, Lord of Grapes, Drunken Soul of Zeus, Master of Shapeshifting Sex.

Notable First Clique Demons

  • Agathas--Kindly old ladies who are mysteriously surrounded by a string of murders which they solve. All their friends seem to die, but they somehow always have more.
  • Alfs--Sarcastic orange muppet-creatures, summoned by sorcerors who need help with witty comebacks and don't mind intelligence loss from frequent exposure
  • Banana Splits--Strangely colored animal creatures who are expert musicians.
  • Drop Bears--Bears which like to fall on things. Don't always comprehend how far they can survive falling.
  • Grape Apes-- GRAPE APE!!!!
  • Grape People--More highly evolved form of Grape Ape but much smaller, make good cannon fodder, moderately skilled at song and dance, but only know one song well (I heard it on the grapevine). Child-Demon-Race of Dionysius.
  • Gratuitously Naked Wasp Women--Says it all, really, make good mounts in several senses.
  • Heck Hounds--Skillful trackers, but find swearing offensive and try to eat anyone who swears.
  • Kreachers--Grovelling little sneaks who hate everyone but their summoner; they love to spy and play tricks for their master, but may well mess up his allies...
  • Stomach Bug--Crawls into your stomach, causes intestinal disorders. Remains unclear why sorcerors keep summoning them.
  • Thought Delvers--Cunning little parasites who look sort of like giant mosquitos. They phase into someone's brain and feed on the person's thoughts. As a side effect, their victim becomes able to tell what other people are thinking, especially about himself. This is very useful to sorcerors and usually drives other victims insane.
  • Yozi Gecko--Very expert at camoflague, skillful at catching things with tongue, but true talent is selling things, especially insurance.

Devious Demonesses

The You'll See know how to copy a good thing when they see it. Eventually. After millions died and tens of million were left mutated and fused together into a horror which had to be burned up by Leaguer.

Finally, however, they figured out how to infuse Exalted shards with their own power. Unfortunately, they sort of lacked a ready supply of such to make their Devious Demonesses. Also, said shards tended to fly off to get cleansed and reused properly on the death of their owner. Still, they continued to slowly recruit 'Demons' and 'Demonesses' to serve them.

Recently, they received fifty Bishonen shards to play with, which they have used to create a new Master Cadre of Devious Demons and Demonesses.

This time, they can't fail!

Of course, they said that last time too...

Comments

I was under the impression that the Devious Demonesses would be their first-circle demons, created because the Not Fun at Alls and their lower souls could not apply their tenta - I mean, they needed servants. Yeah. -Xeriar

Well, I saw them as the Infernals equivalent, the counters to the Helping Goddesses. --JohnBiles
