Cobra Kisser

  • Cost: None
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Type: Special
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Confusing Lolita Resistance

Some Gothic Lolitas are specially trained to resist toxins. Players of characters with this Charm subtract their character’s permanent Moe from the difficulty of all Stamina + Resistance rolls to resist poisons, toxins and drugs. If the final difficulty of any modified roll is reduced below 1, the character automatically nullifies the dangerous substance’s effect. In addition, characters with this Charm add their Resistance to the number of alcoholic drinks they can safely consume without penalty.

Mirth of the Snake Princess

  • Cost: None
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Type: Special
  • Minimum Resistance: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Cobra Kisser

Gothic Lolitas know a thousand and one ways to dispose of their enemies, or simply those people they don’t like. They may beat the crap out of them with a Soulsteel mallet, or they might turn them into their obedient toys, or they might use subtler (and far more lethal) methods, like this one. Once a character purchases this Charm, venom suffuses EVERY fluid in her body (believe me, I know why I capitalize that word). The poison has the following statistics:

Resistance Difficulty: 3 Success Damage: 2L Failure Damage: 6L Duration/Penalty: 6 hours/-4

Players of living beings consuming or otherwise internalizing these tainted fluids (such as through kissing or more intimate contact……got what you deserved, you lolicon!) must succeed at a Stamina + Resistance roll or have their characters suffer the full deleterious effects of the poison. The effect of this Charm can be suppressed and resumed by the Gothic Lolita at any time as a reflexive action that does not count as Charm use.

I Walk Barefooted Through the Lands of the Damned

  • Cost: None
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Type: Special
  • Minimum Resistance: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Confusing Lolita Resistance

While all Lolitas all particularly resistant to pretty much everything, some of them are ridiculously impervious to the ravages of disease and infection. Players of characters with this Charm subtract their character’s permanent Moe from the difficulty of all Stamina + Resistance and Stamina + Endurance rolls to resist or throw off infection and disease. In the case of avoiding infected wounds, this reduction is cumulative with the -2 modifier all Exalted share. If the final difficulty of any modified roll is reduced below 1, the character automatically avoids contracting the illness or successfully purges it in her system (as appropriate to the roll in question).

Living Hair Full Body Defense

  • Cost: 2 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Resistance: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 1
  • Prerequisite Charms: None

At some point, the Lolita meets a fool who actually dares lift a hand against her. In such circumstances, the Lolita must use every resource at hand to quickly deal with the offender. With the proper channeling of her Moe, even her hair responds to the attack by gaining a semblance of awareness and growing instantly to become an effective barrier against attacks. The Lolita may invoke this Charm only before the opponent makes his attack roll. This Charm sets the Lolita’s Hardness against that attack to her Moe + Resistance.

Black Leather Armor Defense

  • Cost: 1 mote per pre-soak damage die removed
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Resistance: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Living Hair Full Body Defense

Her powerful Moe is shaped in the form of a daring skintight black leather suit that protects her against enemy damage. The Lolita may invoke this Charm only before the opponent makes his attack roll. This Charm reduces the raw (pre-soak) damage of the attack by one die for each mote spent. This Charm can reduce the damage of an attack to zero.

Victorian Cloth Reinforcement Technique

  • Cost: 3 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Black Leather Armor Defense

Ordinary weapons bounce off a Gothic Lolita’s elegant dresses when these are strengthened by her Moe. The Lolita may invoke this Charm after an attack hits her but before damage is rolled. The Lolita rolls her (Wits + Resistance) against a difficulty equal to the attacker’s Moe. On a success, this Charm prevents all damage from an attack; on a failure, this Charm still adds her (Wits + Resistance) to her bashing and lethal soak, and half this amount (rounded down) to her aggravated soak.

Black Silk Veil Defense

  • Cost: 7 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Resistance: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Victorian Cloth Reinforcement Technique

The Lolita’s garments glow and shift form for an instant, becoming an exquisite partially-see-through gown of the most beautiful black silk. Despite the apparently fragile nature of partially see-through silk cloth, the Black Silk Veil Defense is made of the Lolita’s condensed Moe, which explains its incredible toughness. The Lolita may invoke this Charm immediately before the damage of a physical attack or similar effect is rolled. This Charm is a perfect defense against the damage of the attack or damaging effect, reducing it to zero after all other effects are applied.

Disturbing Body Adjustment Defense

  • Cost: 4 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Living Hair Full Body Defense

The Lolita infuses her body with Moe when hit by an attack, so as to prevent scars and other hideous marks that would ruin her flawless skin. The Lolita may activate this Charm after an attack hits her but before soak is applied. This Charm converts all lethal damage from an attack into bashing damage, effectively allowing the Lolita to soak the attack with her bashing soak.

Dominatrix Armor Summons

  • Cost: 4 motes + 2 motes per additional 1L/1B soak, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Living Hair Full Body Defense

Lolitas need no other armor but their imposing presences, embodied by their Moe in the shape of an intimidating black leather dominatrix suit. Aside of becoming a disturbingly cute parody of an S&M queen, the Lolita gain a sturdy protection for a period of time. The basic expense of 4 motes and a point of Willpower gives the character +4A/+8L/+8B soak for the rest of the scene. Additional points of lethal and bashing soak can be purchased in a two-motes-per-point basis. Half the amount of bashing/lethal soak purchased is added to the Lolita's Aggravated soak. This Charm cannot be used by characters wearing armor. The defense provided by this Charm is compatible with the effects of Victorian Cloth Reinforcement Technique.

Gothic Lolita Transformation Sequence!

  • Cost: 5 motes
  • Duration: One turn
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Presence: 1
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: None

The Lolita makes a few suggestive gestures and says a few magical words she invents when this Charm is purchased, and the transformation begins. After a lengthy transformation sequence (which only really takes one turn) that includes lots of camera movement, shifting lights of obscure colors, cool metal background music and LOTS of fanservice, the Lolita’s armor has moved from wherever it was to the Lolita’s body and is already fastened and ready to go. Characters with Moe lower than the Lolita’s must succeed on a reflexive Willpower roll (at standard difficulty) or become unable to do anything but watch the transformation sequence in drooling awe during that turn.

The character must have the armor readily available and at hand to use this Charm and may not summon her armor from further away than her Moe in yards.

NeverCute's Armor Locker

  • Cost: 1 or 5 motes; see text
  • Duration: Indefinite
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Gothic Lolita Transformation Sequence!

A Gothic Lolita who knows this Charm can store her armor in Mallet Space, recalling it only as needed for battle. The character must be wearing a suit of armor that she owns and has worn in battle, with all its straps and fastenings fitted properly to banish it. If these conditions are met, the armor banishes in a flash of blinding ghostly light. At any time, the character may concentrate and summon her armor from Mallet Space. Doing so takes as much time as donning the armor normally would, unless the character spends an additional 4 motes to make it reappear instantly with a Gothic Lolita Transformation Sequence!

A character can only have one suit of armor stored in Mallet Space at a time and may not recall it unless she is unarmored to receive it. If she cancels the Moe committed to this Charm while the armor is fully or partially in Mallet Space, any donned pieces return to Mallet Space, and then, the entire suit appears within arm’s reach. This Charm only applies to body armor and shields, but not to other worn items.

Becoming the Dark Magical Girl

  • Cost: 10 or 12 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: NeverCute's Weapon Locker

After a one-turn-long transformation sequence (with the awe-inducing effects of the Charm above), the Gothic Lolita’s anima takes physical form, into the Lolita’s ideal combat suit, a reflection of her soul, personality and temperament. The character can design the armor to suit her personal aesthetics and mood –it can be sleek, imposing, ornate or simple, but it is always black.

Characters can only use this Charm if they’re not already wearing body armor. It creates armor with 10L/10B soak, 5 Hardness, a -1 mobility penalty and no fatigue penalty. For an additional two motes, the Lolita can create an über-cool sweeping black cloak that moves of its own accord to entangle and snag incoming blows. This cloak acts like a shield, increasing the difficulty of all attacks against the Exalt by +1.

Reality Revision: Perfected Fivefold Armor of the Epitome of Moe

  • Cost: 14 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 6
  • Minimum Moe: 7
  • Prerequisite Charms: Becoming the Dark Magical Girl

The Gothic Lolita assimilates the essence of her own self, materializing her Moe. As it takes form, she reluctantly accepts (for a little while) that the Moe other Exalts represent are just as valid and just as powerful. By gaining consciousness of the qualities of Bishoujo, Magical Girl, Helping Goddess and Cat Girl Moe, she visualizes the very essence of Moe, creating a fivefold amalgam of crystalline, kawaii perfection.

The Perfected Fivefold Armor of the Epitome of Moe is the dream of any otaku and the nightmare of the Lolita’s enemies. Only by wearing it, a Loli with enough power can decimate entire nations and subjugate them under her absolute cuteness. The Lolita’s hair grows until it reaches her waist (if it was already longer, it remains unchanged). Her equipment is replaced by a French maid costume that doesn’t cover her legs with a long skirt. The skirt is replaced by something far more terrifying. From the waist down, the Loli wears nothing but bloomers. Cat ears adorn her hair and a pretty wriggly tail grows from the end of her back. A tiny golden bell tied around her neck finishes the attire. Cherry petals rain wherever she walks.

Her cuteness is such that she suffers no damage from any non-magical object or force properly registered within the records of the Ultimate System. Mortals simply cannot touch her: they explode in outrageous nose-bleeding, regardless of age, sex, sexual preference or even species (animals are also overwhelmed by such cuteness). Beings and forces not recorded in the Ultimate System can hurt the character normally by mundane means, but all others must use magically-enhanced attacks or weapons of the Five Magical Materials to harm the Gothic Lolita.

The armor gives the Lolita soak equal to (her Moe + the sum of her Virtues), and she adds her highest Virtue to the difficulty of all attacks made against her by Bishonens/Bishoujos, Magical Girls, Helping Goddesses and Cat Girls. This includes both Charm-based attacks and sorcery. These are effective automatic successes to avoid the attack and are additive with dodges and parries. This Charm offers no protection against more subtle effects, such as mind control. This Charm is incompatible with armor.

Comments

Victorian Cloth Reinforcement Technique seems a little cheap at 3 motes for a semi-perfect that is going to work most of the time AND provides a fair sized armor boost when it does not. Disturbing Body Adjustment Defense costs more than VCRT, but does less at the same Moe and Resistance prereq level. Mallet Space is a great name to use for Elsewhere in E:Kawaii. Over all, again, lots of good charms here.

Sorry, forgot to add the Willpower cost to VCRT. Once again, thanks for noticing. --Wings

Dominatrix Armor Summons should hav e alisted limit on the amount of soak that it can add, mabye Moe+Resistance or Stamina+Resistance. - Blackedout

Honestly, why? It's much like the solar resistance charms (not all of which have limits as such) it can't be used with armor, and it only increments by a value of 1A/1L/1B for each iteration. Seems reasonable to me, although the starting amount of armor seems a little high. Maybe if you cut out the increasable agg soak Wings, it would balance slightly better? -grypph
I reduced the aggravated soak increase to 1A per 2L ratio. That should be enough...right? --Wings
I think so, yes. --JohnBiles
