Tolens, the Bargain which is not Equal, Messenger soul of the Mine of All Things Buried
Tolens walked on the soil of the demon city for many years, and before that the skin of the world for ages uncounted and uncountable. She was the ability of the earth to dredge up and reveal its truth, and in her passage diamonds sprouted from the soil as if plants, the bones of ancient temples revealed themselves, ready to again receive worship for the gods who had forgotten them, and the lost, damaged souls of loved ones smiled momentarily before drifting to peaceful Lethe. All things that had cursed their hidden entrapment under the world were made free and visible, and Tolens was glad to see the buried majesties redeemed. In those days, she was known as Tashin-ke, Who Reveals Unspoken Memories, and she walked tall as a willowy, lithe woman in a gown the blue of the highest part of the sky on a summer day. Her gown was of unlimited length, trailing as long as the memories of its passage, fluttering in the air for miles as a glorious streak of silk. She had eyes that looked as if unspeakably ancient stones were seeing light for the first time since their birth, like the eyes of birds opening for the first time; they glowed with joy and discovery.
Then, a sorceror made an arrangement with Dikos Mou, and she was dismantled and reborn according to his prescription. Once, she revealed the things long hidden that were forgotten; now, she reveals things that may have never existed, and she reveals them from her flesh. Her blue gown has been dismantled and reborn as a blue glass gibbet that chains her into the position of a crucified criminal. Her bright eyes are now whites and looking inwards, seeking to avoid the sight of her disaster but trapped by it. Her mouth looks like a ghoulish smile from ear to ear, her cheeks split at the corners of her lips. Her chest was cut with the y-shaped precision of vivisection, her outstretched hands now holding the tattered edges of her skin wide apart. It is pinned through her palms and stretched out around her like a drum's top or a spider's web, with her caught helpless in the center. Her revealed organs pulse a sickly ichor through her veins that reeks of formaldehyde, and her flesh is permeated with the black pus-like discharge. In the demon city, she is ignored by most as an inauspicious being who will bring only ill luck. To those who have thought on her nature, she is the representation of the fact that when one makes a bargain, one must ensure that one does not yield too much of themselves - this is the origin of her name.
Her tormented flesh is malleable and ductile; it serves as the substance and the means for the construction of many things, and is worked as any who try wish. It may be forced and hammered into many shapes, and as her tongue and throat were taken from her, she cannot scream at the torment it causes her. Many sorcerors have called her forth as a font of countless unusual ingredients to work into wonders. She can also appear in the form of the transfixed woman in her gibbet, but on a cart pulled by two men in black hoods; they are the representation of the small part of her that understands that if this atrocity is the will of her master, then it must be her will too. This is a testament to her conviction; she has not willed herself to die yet for she could not gainsay her master's will.

Tolens' pain is a gift to those who would work her flesh, it is a boon to any who can willingly carve at the flesh of a living and suffering being to make themselves greater. Any crafts roll based on physical items can be made using her flesh as half of the resources value and half of the exotic ingredient requirements for the item. The results are indistinguishable from those made with more mundane resources. Any substance may be drawn from her flesh; it can be tortured and twisted into any specific ingredient, whether an old man's womb or the tears of a frozen bird, with a successful intelligence + medicine roll at a difficulty of the resources value of the item; torture specialties are applicable.
