Tepet Djenus Baran

Tepet Baran has made a lifestyle out of fear. It's not an easy lifestyle for a dragonblood, but somebody has to do it. He exalted at an early age, when a friend jumped out from behind a tree in a game in of hide and seek, and in his fear leapt underground.

Since then, he has been pretentious, to be polite; bringing back his family line's name from a century before, dressing in seventh-century robes, and being generally snobby. He jumps at the drop of a hat, but will never betray anyone. He is an object of mockery, always, but it's often good-natured. Any true hate usually comes from men who have fought in many a battle and resent his easy-found power; if a coward - even a noble coward - could gain the power, why not they? But he is generally likable, will not lie, and is honest and devout in his religion. He's easy to hate, but easier to like.

He has been studying as a sorceror, because it seemed safer than training for the military; he has become charming because fewer people try to hit him that way, and he's practiced honing his senses, so he can run ahead of time. Fear has served him well, and is likely to do so as long as he lives; the more he summons and the more he learns, the more worried he is about the world.
