Teflonshugenja/SolarBrawlRevised
New Charms
Golden Star Fist
Cost: 1 mote/die Duration: Instant Type: Supplemental Min. Brawl: 1 Min. Essence: 1 Prereqs: None
With speed and skill enhanced by Essence, the Solar's attacks are far more accurate than any mortal's. The Exalt may add 1 die to a single Brawl attack for every mote spent on this Charm.
Charm Revisions by Name
Hammer on Iron Technique - The total number of attacks granted by this Charm equals the Exalt's Brawl score, not his Essence rating. Remove the "...no defensive Charms" clause, allowing it to be used freely with Reflexive and passive defenses.

...You meant Min. Brawl above, right? I know, it was prolly quite late, and such, and I would have just fixed it for you if I was absolutely positive that's what you meant, but for all I know you could be starting some wonky MA thing and just not told us about it. So here I am calling your attention to it.
Fixed. Yes, it was quite late. -- teflonshugenja
Incidentally, I'm considering altering Hammer on Iron Technique and Shower of Deadly Blades to work like Peony Blossom Attack, i.e. no WP and a 3m/attack cost. This has the advantage of allowing for scalable Combos, whereas the WP-cost Charms lock you into a set number of attacks. It has the disadvantage of making them all alike, however, and I don't want the Charms to all start to look the same. Thoughts? -- teflonshugenja
Mm. I rather prefer the distinct flavor that HoI has right now. In general, when making new Charms, I try to extend the existing flavor, using the old charms as a model. Making every Charm do the same thing gets dull- I want to have meaningful choices!
F'r instance, check out SolarBrawl/DariusSolluman, specifically the Blacksmith's Hammer Prana. Which is a cross between Hammer on Iron and Knockout Blow. DS
Good points. I think I'll leave it alone - while scaling Extra Action charms are my personal preference, since they provide on-the-fly adaptation in a Combo, preserving meaningful choices is probably more important, and it's not like there's anything wrong with the Charm providing a set number of attacks.
I do think the "No defensive actions except soak" clause was unnecessary, though. I stand by my decision to remove it. -- teflonshugenja
