Shoat of the Mire is (canonically) the sole Abyssal in service to the Dowager. The current Shoat is a 10-year-old girl of the Dusk Caste.
Shoat, by the way, means a small fish, a young suckling pig, or the offspring of a sheep and a goat; a mire is an area of swampy ground.
