FixTheLunarCharmTrees/FlowingBodyEvasion

Official Version

As per the Lunar book. (Which is 6m 1w for a conditional perfect and absolute defence. If the lunar rolls at least 1 success on dex + dodge, they can dodge -anything-. However, it may only be used before the lunar acts that turn. However, it's a simple charm.)

BrokenShade's Version

Make it Reflexive and Instant, providing a reflexive dodge that can only be used before your initiative action.

David.'s Version

Instant, Reflexive, may only be used before the Lunar acts in a turn. The character rolls Dexterity + Dodge, and if she attains at least one success, she successfully evades any attack, even undodgeable attacks. The effects of Charms that convert Dexterity dice to successes or that add automatic successes to Dexterity or Dodge rolls never apply to the roll that Flowing Body Evasion calls for.

Everyone talks about changing this one ... what should the change be? ^_^

Why is this so broken? Also, BrokenShade... don't you want to lower the cost a little, or are you actually implying it still has the conditional perfect effect and is simply reflexive and instant?

What's broken about it is that it's Instant and Simple (personally, I think "Simple" is a typo; the text, to me, reads like it's meant to be Reflexive). I think that, when the roll succeeds, it should be a perfect defense, trumping perfect attacks. After all, the Charm does cost 6 motes and 1 Willpower, and it can't be used after you act in the turn. I also propose making this a Dexterity, rather than Charisma Charm, but that's another long set of changes to Lunar Charms. Right now, right here, I'm just worrying about giving the Charms better mechanics. :) - David.
