Lord Du Lu (15): Barely more than a mere boy and Lord in name only, Du Lu is nontheless the current Lord of Cantrev Lu. His parents both died during a harsh summer illness a year ago, and he was recalled from Tinallion to rule the land. He is surrounded by advisors and hanger ons, still too soft to turn them aside and too trusting to know how blatantly he is being used. He is still a child, thrust into an adult's world, and is often uncertain as to his next steps. This would matter little, if Cantrev Lu did not control some of the richest fishing lands of all the Violet Coast.
Other Family Members
Sir Jin-Wu Lu (35): Du Lu's uncle, Jin-Wu has little patience for the nicities of ruling. He's never been one who felt comfortable under a roof, and has spent much of his life on horse or boat, delivering messages and the Lord's Will under his father, then his brother, and now his nephew. He's not thrilled with the way the Cantrev is progressing, but sees little help for it.
Madam Miya Lu DariusSolluman/TinalionCantrevLordsBo) (22): Jin-Wu's wife, Miya takes not at all after her her family, but is instead one of the most chillingly refined women on the Violet Coast. Their marriage was an entirely arranged one, which neither side particuarly cares for- Miya spends almost all her days in Tinal, and the majority of her nights with gallant nobles or rich merchants. She longs to leave the Violet Coast and travel to the Riverlands and the Realm, lands as distant and impossibly refined and cultured from Tinalion's drab and paltry nature, but family honor prevents such an outrage.
Burning Ocean (17): Formerly Madam Kiku Lu, she was betrothed to marry Lord Amil DariusSolluman/TinalionCantrevLordsAmil) when she was 14. Loathing the very idea, she instead fled to the Crying Monestary, renouncing her old heritage. She's remained there to this day, a postulant monk forgetting her old life. She would hardly be recognized by her brother, her hair shaved and dressed in a monk's simple ge rather than the velvets of court.
