Quiet Slumber
Cost: None\\ Duration: Indefinite\\ Type: Special\\ Min. Charisma: 5\\ Min Essence: 3\\ Prereqs: Prey's Skin Disguise\\
This charm allows the Lunar to share his body with those whose heart’s blood he has drunk for this purpose. The target must willingly allow the Lunar to slay him or her and drink of the heart’s blood. Then, for the normal cost of changing into a human form, the Lunar can assume the form of the slain individual and has the option of allowing him/her control of the body. The Lunar can also allow the target to assume control of his body in other forms, but the target always uses the statistics of the Lunar (a legendary swordsman could be eaten but would only be able to draw upon the Lunar’s skill). The Lunar is still in effective control and can prevent any actions that he/she wishes to prevent, as well as being able to resume control at any time. The Lunar can also communicate with the target – who becomes a part of the Lunar. The target may have information the Lunar needs and may agree to divulge it in return for a certain amount of time in control of the body. This spell removes the target from the cycle of life and death until the death of the Lunar.
Soul Eating
Cost: 1 Willpower\\ Duration: Special\\ Type: Special\\ Min. Charisma: 5\\ Min Essence: 4\\ Prereqs: Quiet Slumber\\
If the Lunar wishes to use this charm he or she simply has to spend a willpower when drinking the heart’s blood of another being. That being’s higher soul is absorbed and the knowledge and skills of the being become available for the Lunar to plunder. Such plundering is not without cost, however. Each time the Lunar draws upon the knowledge of a trapped soul he/she must roll willpower. The difficulty is determined by the complexity of the information required – to find out who hired the target might be difficulty 1 whereas the detailed plans for the evil overlord’s palace might require 4 or 5 successes to retrieve. If the target was an exalt all rolls are at +1 difficulty. If the Lunar fails, he is unable to get the information he requires and all subsequent rolls vs that trapped soul are at +1 difficulty. Each Lunar month that passes increases the general difficulty to extract information from a trapped soul by +1. If the difficulty is ever greater than the Lunar’s willpower then the trapped soul is able to break free. So a Lunar with a willpower of 6 could hope to hold onto a soul for no more than 6 Lunar months, and could probably only gather information from it for the first month or so, with failed rolls freeing it sooner.

Hope you don't mind, but I think these are very good Charms for the Lunars. One idea though which is a bit off topic, but do you think that Soul Eating would be enough of a... violation to anger the lower soul (especially in the case of an Exalt)? Also, does this eat just the hun (seat of knowledge and higher thought) or both hun and po (the animalistic part of the soul dedicated to survival and more primal drives)? Sorry to bring in Abyssal stuff, but it did make me wonder because that would be why a Lunar might not use this too often. - haren
I have to admit, I'm a lot more into Lunars than I am Abyssals. I know a fair bit of Solar stuff, but only because my Lunar was in a group of Solars, and I have just made a Solar to play now the Lunars gone to build an empire... I'm honestly not sure whether it would be better to hold on to both souls at once or just the higher soul. What sort of negative effects would you associate with holding on to the lower soul? Maybe the charm could be altered to suit, and then another made that has soul eating as a prerequisite that allows you to hold on only to the higher soul and hold on to it for longer (as the lower soul isn't helping it's escape efforts) but the lower soul automatically becomes a hungry ghost and comes looking for you? As I say, not really my field of expertise, and I'd appreciate any thoughts people have on this - CorlanDashiva
