Only a pleasure, Shataina. ^_^\\ Braydz, If you look in the Combo construction section of the main book you will see that all Charms except the Reflexives must be from the same ability. Any Reflexive can be added to any Combo! ^_^\\ -- BrokenShade

This is a very good idea. However, I wouldn't write up the specific things that each charms does because it takes so much space, and it makes things harder to read. In the end, it may just become another set of charm cards, as the number of charms increases in time. Furthermore, I assume that it's perfectly alright to write down some more things? I've written MA "To increase your chances to survive a blow". Finally, the first category can probably be divided in more detail. It is somewhat encumbering to read the "Any Charm to Include" category as is. How about defense, offense, and utility? ~ Clebo

Hi Clebo. I realise you meant to be helpful, but these are primarily for my own use and in my own format ... the way I understand them. ^_^ Others are welcome to use them if they find the format helpful, but please only change the comments section! Its taken a huge amount of work to get them exactly as I want them.

I treat any subpages of BrokenShade as a page only I may change (except of course for the Comment sections). Anything I put elsewhere people are welcome to change (and have done).

The dragon styles will go under my DB page (when I get there ^_^, Combos aren't as important for DBs with their free Reflexives, and I've set up character templates for DBs) and the Sidereal styles are going up under the BrokenShade/SiderealComboConstruction page. I do realise that Martial Arts are universal, but I am trying to avoid duplication and encourage my players to use arts in their sourcebooks!

As to the detail, I specifically want to include exactly and concisely what the Charm does, so (as storyteller) I don't need to refer to my books all the time. And it includes only (or primarily) the Comboable charms, with the cost of including it in the Combo ... as that is what its for. Its even in the order I find most useful. You can see that this is a very personal thing. ^_^ In fact, some of my wording may be hard for others to understand!

Hi there! Oops, sorry about meddling into your stuff. Ah well, I thought I made a significant contribution, from the perspective of a more general usage for all Exalted fans. Not that there is anything wrong at all to things for oneself only. Although, the idea you've got going here can be made general and be extremely useful for many others, with only a minimum of effort from you. This, of course, is a compliment, nothing else. I suspect that redundancy is a good thing here. If one charm can be used in several ways, then why not list them in all of them? Ah well, you probably should do what you feel is best, regardless :-). Also, since it's ok to discuss things here, what was really wrong with the category "increase the chances to survive a blow", and the charm Death-Parrying Stroke? Is it because of the DB stuff? -Clebo

Thanks, Clebo, glad you understood. ^_^ Yes, its because of the DB and Sidereal stuff. This page is for Comboable Solar (combat) Charms from the Core and the Solar Caste books only. There was nothing wrong with the category at all, the categories are just groupings that make sense to me. I have finished Lunars (BrokenShade/LunarComboConstruction) and Abyssals (BrokenShade/AbyssalComboConstruction) too, and decided to leave Martial Arts on the page that relates to the Splat in which it is found ... its easy enough to find. ^_^ -- BrokenShade
