Blaque's Lunar House Rules

This is a revised attempt to update my list of house rules for Lunars. In the end, I have come to the conclusion while that in many areas, Lunars are really cool thematically and conceptually, the Charms chapter and some other things in this book was probably the worse-developed in the entirety of the Exalted line.

As Abyssals and Sidereals showed, one can take a lot more effort to try and balance a group compared to Solar Exalted without having to make them obviously weaker. Part of the current problem is that a lot of Lunar Charms are simply ineffective. While they might lead to cool effects, and whatnot, how they are written at the current time does not allow Lunar Exalted to compete with anything but mortals, God-Blooded, and Terrestrial Exalted. A Lunar suffers in combat and conflict with spirits, and Celestial Exalted, their supposed equals.

Note that I'm not trying to empower Lunars too much. Nor try to rewrite them entirely from what they currently are. Mainly, I want them to be at least as effective as Sidereal or Abyssal Exalted. There will be changes here and there to overall "tighten" them, similar to what Solar Exalted got in the recent Player's Guide Power Combat rules.

In a smaller vein, take into account I will be using Power Combat for these rules. So some Charms may or may not work at all outside of these, and some changes may not help. Keep that in mind as I do this document.

And now for the actual houseruling. Stuff:)

These are always welcome, of course. Any improvement, changes, or dislikes, send 'em here.

Hey, I really like your soak variant, the extra action change, and many of your charm changes. I'm gonna go over them in more detail in a little bit. If you have time, I'd be interested in your comments on Morpheus/LunarCharmsForMe. I think they could be very helpful to me. Thanks. I'll get back to you. - Morpheus
