Dragon Claw Sleeves
Commitment: 2 motes

These bracerlike sleeves were designed as a modern substitute for Perfected Kata Bracers. While the sleeves do not rival the power of the original they are more easily created and have hence, become more common. Originally designed by Mnemon Keryn for use with his spellbeads the Sleeves quickly gained popularity amoung Martial Artists.
The actual material used for the bracers is tanned from the scales and skin of a draconic entity's forearms and claws. The claws are removed and used to etch stylized Form movements onto the interior. The raw materials are put though a series of elementally resonant but ultimately iconic procedures, namely: the skin is tanned on an air enchanted wooden frame, cleaned by a water enchanted stone comb, soaked in fire enchanted oiled-water, forged as earth enchanted skin, and artificed as wood enchanted skin.
The final product is a supple dragon scale bracer of the finest leather. The scales are lined in black jade, as are the ends, one coming just short of the elbow, the other terminating in jade rings around the base of each finger. This leaves the wearer's forearm to the back of their hand coated in the comfortable and tightly fitting dragon-leather. There is a hearthstone socket in the lower-top side forearm of the sleeve.
  • While attuned the wearer's Martial Arts Charms cost two less motes to activate to a minimum of one.
  • Jade Items cost two fewer motes to commit also to a minimum of one.
  • Due to the material composition the wearer also subtracts one from their speed rating and adds one to their accuracy for Martial Arts attacks.

Fibrous Armour Graft Vine</b>
This plant bares a strong resemblance to the vegetative technologies of the Dragon-Kings but was actually invented by a Wood Aspected Dragon-Blood in the Second age, one Mnemon Keryn. Produced through a primitive form of Genesis work utilizing Neomah and Summoning the Harvest. Aspects of Dragon-King Vegetative Technology, Perronele physiology and Wood Elemental material were combined to breed this plant-creature.

This plant is an Artifact three while the armour produced by it is Artifact two.

Commitment: Special

Fibrous Armour Grafts are living wood armor, grown from a large vine plant that generally produces 1 to 3 leaves during a growing season. At stem of each leaf is sometimes a seed (one in ten); which with tending or luck can grow another plant. The leaves themselves are covered in tightly packed soft spines all falling in the same direction. And when placed near one’s chest expand and writhe up the person’s body to form intricate armor of living wood. The tissue of the plant thickens and hardens providing excellent armor as well as warmth in cold conditions and aeration in hot conditions. The slight runners that connect the armor to the individual allow the individual to control the armour with silent act of will. Fibrous Armour Grafts require four hours of sunlight a day but no commitment. Without this they go dormant and require a mote and four hours of sunlight to revitalize.
