Kanamtar, The Grasp of the Demon City
Level Five Reaver Daiklaive
Forged from Malfeas himself by Ligier, this blade is the embodiment of his wrath against the children of the gods, and the gods themselves. It has surfaced from time to time in Creation - often in the hand of Demon-blooded, but was sometimes wielded by a mortal with rather messy results - but always vanishes before it could fall into the hands of the Immaculate Order or the Maiden's Chosen. Rumors have recently surfaced that an Exalt of unknown type currently wields the blade.
The blade itself is a reaver daiklaive made from one of Malfeas' bones, pinkish white with tinges of green from being bleached in Ligier's verdant glow. The hilt is made from Malfean brass, and runes crying out against the hubris of the gods for the acts against their creators have been carved into the bone and filled with Malfean brass. While it strikes as true as an orichalcum reaver daiklaive, the blade calls to those whom it strikes, wishing to bring them into the loving arms of the Yozis.
After a successful strike with the weapon, the wielder may choose to attempt to send his target to the City of Brass. The wielder rolls Essence+Occult against his target's MDV. If he succeeds, an additional pair of arms sprout from the wielder as his eyes glow with Ligier's baleful light and the screams of the Demon Realm emit from his mouth. These arms latch onto the target and - unless the Clinch is broken - the target is dragged through the portal into Malfeas that the wielder has become. It is, of course, possible for the target to return to Creation, but that is a story all its own.
Of course, being touched by this blade will leave a mark even if the target escapes being dragged into Malfeas. If the successes on the roll match the MDV but do not surpass, the target is struck with the Creature of Darkness mutation for a number of weeks equal to the wielder's Essence. If the roll simply fails, the target is haunted by the flashes of the Demon Realm that he sees whenever he closes his eyes; he takes a penalty on all rolls over the next (wielder's Essence) days equal to the wielder's Essence.
