Unnamed Lunar Campaign Log
This is my attempt to produce a session-by-session log for Hplovescats' new Lunar campaign. Accounts will probably be synopses instead of in-depth narrative, just because I'm not inclined to record what everyone says or does during a session. (Almost half of it tends to be out-of-game silliness, anyway.)
The PCs:
- Amala, a No Moon weaponsmith from the south. Her totem is a jackal.
- August Longclaw, formerly Tepet August, a Dynastic scout commander who took part in the campaign against the Bull of the North. A Changing Moon tactician and diplomat, his totem is a snow leopard.
- Ruin in his Wake, a drunken and licentious Full Moon ronin from the Hundred Kingdoms. His totem is a wild boar.
- Seeta, a gypsy Changing Moon trickster. Her totem is a fox.
Mentors:
- Greenclaw, Amala's No Moon mentor. Constantly wears a shroud.
- Orlando, Seeta's former mentor.
- Lazlo, a Changing Moon who has been repeatedly humiliated by Seeta, and has been declared her new mentor. His totem is a snake.
- Stultz, a Full Moon assigned by the Pact to keep Ruin's inflated ego and overweening pride in check; effectively his mentor. His totem is a Titanothere (Giant Rhino).
- Grimfang, August's mentor and Martial Arts instructor. His totem is a bear.
Other Lunar NPCs: (list is incomplete)
- Gungar of the Claws, a Full Moon from the Southeast who likes saying his own name. His totem is a Tyrant Lizard.
- Everett, a (female?) Icewalker Lunar, who is understandably hostile to August.
- Lord Stranglefoot, a No Moon elder. Member of the Empty Moon Cabinet.
- Alabeth, a No Moon elder. Member of the Empty Moon Cabinet.
- The Unknown Elder, found inside a moonsilver carapace.
Lunar Camps:
- The Empty Moon Cabinet (No Moon Murr-Ya)
- The House of Bones (Full Moon Murr-Ya)
- The Skinchangers (Changing Moon Murr-Ya)
Other Major NPCs:
- Han of the Dara-ko, the shaman of his tribe.
- Wind-Blossom, the goddess of things that tread lightly in the Majestic Emerald Basin. Known as 'Jericha' of the Dara-ko when she was bound as Han's wife.
- Heavy-Foot, the god of things that weigh heavily in the Majestic Emerald Basin, and brother of Wind-Blossom.
