Bracelets of the Unified Soul

Artifact 2?
Costs 3 motes of Essence to attune.

These unique moonsilver-and-starmetal bracelets were crafted by Quicksilver Radiance and her four Sidereal guardians at the height of their realm's prosperity, to signify their undying friendship. Each one is considered Artifact 2, and only those with the Essences of the Lunar princess and her four guardians can attune to them.

By spending a single mote of Essence, a wearer can instantly communicate with another single wearer, regardless of distance. This communication will not carry across the barriers between planes, so one wearer can't speak with another if the former is in Creation and the latter is in Yu-Shan. This communication must be verbal, but even the faintest whispers are heard by the recipient with crystal quality.

The powers of these bracelets intensify in close quarters. If two or more of the wearers are fighting within five yards of each other, they gain a bonus to Accuracy and Defense equal to the number of wearers in the vicinity. The powers can also work up to ten yards away, but the bonus is halved and rounded down. Therefore, if Quicksilver Radiance and three of her Sidereals are fighting the undead hordes and there's a three-yard distance between the fighters, each will gain +4 to Accuracy and Defense. If Quicksilver Radiance is suddenly thrown four yards away, she only gains a +2 bonus while the Sidereal bonus is reduced to +3.

Finally, for a mote of Essence each wielder can instantly change her clothing into a loose flowing battle robe decorated with images according to her caste. This has no mechanical effect, but is often performed almost reflexively by the reincarnated Exalts.

Miedvied inspired these and the communication function is lifted from his Badges of Communion.
