Player Types

According to Robin Laws there are five types of roleplayers:

• Storyteller: The story is paramount.
• Method Actor: the character is paramount.
• Butt Kicker: How many monsters do I get to kill?
• Power Gamer: What cool artifact can i have today.
• Casual Gamer: It's nice to be with the guys

Players usually have the characteristics of multiple types. A good storyteller knows 'his types' and can thus give each player his moments.
