Art Gallery

Coming soon: sketches of Black Tiger (Night Caste), Nate Grey (Eclipse Caste), and Thorn Bullrusher (Dawn Caste). In the meantime, buy my art!

My former imagehost died, so I erased the pictures which had non-working URLs.

This is a picture of Esara Gia, a Chosen of Secrets in willows' Sidereal game. I plan on tweaking the shadow and highlight for quite some time, but this is the best I'm capable of at the moment.

This is a picture of Hollow Moth, NatalieD's character in willows' Sidereal game. She pictured the character wearing flowing robes and stuff, but the adjectives she gave me were "skinny" and "goth," the former being difficult to express with tons of clothing.

This was originally a pencil sketch, hence it looking drastically different than most of my other stuff. Plus, I'm no good with shading without a reference, so I didn't shade at all. This is Delicate Petal, a Twilight NPC in the Solar game I'm running.

Your Castemark isn't distorted by perspective the way we would expect it to be. Also, I suggest you get a friend and a little Maglite, point it at her forehead, and see how the lights and shadows fall. - willows

Oooh, pretty:D Thanks for sharing it; that helps me to visualize the story a lot better. The background is nice; no problem at all with the cheating:) -- CrownedSun

The "overexposed" look works pretty well, I think. Two criticisms, though. Actually, one question and one criticism:

  1. Is that meant to be her hair, or a shawl of some sort? It seems odd to think of an albino with pink hair.
  2. The lack of dark pupils makes her look blind.

Only the no-pupils thing actually bothers me.

  • Yes, it's meant to be her hair. I was trying to do something where the lighting itself made the hair look pink, but as is also evident above, I have never had much luck with complicated lighting effects. Most of my attempts at pupilage in realistic-type art look fake, so I tried to sneak out of it. I see what you mean though; I think I'll fix it. --dissolvegirl

The Eclipse mark totally is a bullseye. Which just goes to show that the Unconquered Sun has a well-developed sense of irony.
