Main Protagonists (Second Age)

Hulen zan-Gon (Twilight): A philosopher and savant. Very quiet and reserved, though enthusiastic about the acquisition of knowledge. Uses Snake style martial arts and recently acquired a jade serpent-sting staff called Serpent's Lotus.
Ragara Rynel (Eclipse):A former member of the dragon-blooded House Ragara, Rynel was immediately outcast from his House and family due to an 'incident' at a small town on the southern coast across from the Blessed Isle. In a place the locals simply called Ragara Town, an archery competition was held. Rynel entered and made it to the finals, being the only non-Exalt to do so. During his shots, a vision and prophecy occured, as well as his Exaltation - but into a Solar, not a Terrestrial. Now he is hunted by his family, a wind-aspect named Ledaal Amahara, and Amahara's circlemates. Discovered a rather valuable bit of information in an epileptic-like fit of a vision, the magnitude of it being amplified due to his proximity to the Loom of Fate.
Sarlk Alamansty (Dawn): Raised in the East, he was trained in a school run by the Cult of the Illuminated. He eventually became a renowned master of the spear, perfecting his own fighting style and eventually returning to the school and becoming a teacher there. He has several loyal students who followed him after his Exaltation. Uses a Dire Lance called Aurora Arc.
Staren (Chosen of Secrets): Charged by the Maiden of Secrets to discover why these five Solars are supposed to be very important to the Tapestry. Had a family prior to Exaltation, which included her mother, father, and sister. Her familiar is a cabbit. Favors using two starmetal straight swords.
Wolf of the West (Zenith): A pirate-king turned priest of the Unconquered Sun. Has an intense hatred for the Guild. Is very interested in courting Rynel's sister now that he has met her. Uses a reaper daiklave.

Secondary Cast (Second Age)

Alchemicals and Autochthonians

Anointed Soul of Yugash (Orichalcum): An Alchemcial Exalted who arrived in Creation five years ago, concurrently with the disappearance of the Scarlet Empress. She has been working in Yu-Shan as an ambassador and guide since then. She recently joined the Circle in order to find a way past the Eight Divine Seals back into Autochthon.

Deathlords and their Host

The Abyssal Depths Who Walk: An undersea Deathlord. Probably sets up where Sunken Luthe is in Creation.
Admiral of the Darkened Yonder: Deathlord who holds the skies of the Underworld. Probably has a lot of cool looking necrotic skyships or something.
The First and Forsaken Lion
Forsaken Flower Upon The River (Dusk): Seems to recognize Hulen, or at least his Exalted shard.
The King in Yellow: A desert king.
The Thousand Year Curse (Moonshadow): A horrifically withered Abyssal.
Lord of Darkness in the Labrynthine Chaos: A deathlord whose domain is in the Labrinynth
Shadowdancer (Midnight): A spy for the Lord of Darkness.
Mask of Winters
Maiden of the Mirthless Smile (Dusk)

The Dragon-Blooded and Affiliated Cast

Cathak Soong (Earth): Part of Amahara's sworn brotherhood.
Ledaal Amahara (Air): Rynel's nemesis. Apparently one of Sasaki's suitors. Brags about how he is going to kill Rynel and put his head on a pike outside his manse.
Ledaal Kebok Soraya (Water):Part of Amahara's sworn brotherhood.
Ragara Sasaki (Air): Rynel's younger sister and was his intended bride. Recieved the Ashigaru armor that had been standing in the family manse for ages and a jade smashfist called Ragara's Pride. She is knowledgeble enough to repair and maintain her armor. Still wants to marry her brother. Her mother is trying to arrange another marriage, however. Does not like Ledaal Amahara. Followed Rynel when he escaped from his Manse.
Ragara Tolagu (Earth): Rynel's mother. Desperately trying to establish her own bloodline. Sent Sasaki and Volagio to go keep the manse Rynel owned from getting claimed by other Houses.
Ragara Tomino (Fire): Part of Amahara's sworn brotherhood.
Shuri The Scarlet: Former officer of the Vermillion Legion, now "police commissioner" for the satrapy of An-Teng. Has a prosthetic jade arm. Was at Rynel's manse when Rynel visited it for the first time in five years.
V'neef Alastor (Wood): Part of Amahara's sworn brotherhood.

The Fair Folk

Damon Sun-Touched (Cataphract): An ancient fae who has taken on the aspect of the sun. Possesses "Mother's Arms" and "Father's Judgement" in the Age of Sorrows. Has guarded Jeryl's manse since before the Balorian Crusade. Set up a freehold underneath the manse in order to sustain herself. Was known as Damon Wyld-Born in the First Age.

God-blooded

Ragara Volagio (Terrestrial Half-Caste): Rynel's older half-brother on his mother's side. A real weasel. His only real ability is being able to attune jade wonders. Does not like Ledaal Amahara and hopes Rynel kills him.
Tolan, Deimius (Fae-blood): Mayor of Jade-Upon-The-River
Tolan, Morrigan (Fae-blood): Deimius' wife.
Tolan, Summer (Fae-blood): Daughter of Deimius and Morrigan.

The Infernal Exalted

The Mouth of Erembour: A Fire-Aspect Dragon-Blood Martial Artist who was seduced by the dark powers of the Yozis. His face has never been seen by the heroes of the stories, seeing as how he wears a shroud made entirely of shadows. Also known as the man in black. It is known that the Mouth is at least a Terrestrial Circle Sorcerer, as he countered a Death of Obsidian Butterflies unleashed by Hulen. Last seen escaping in a black iron warstrider. ("The man in black fled across the desert and the Exalted followed..." :D )

Mortals

Anon: Head butler of Rynel's manse. A very loyal servant of Rynel's.
Borden Sakennin: Student of Sarlk.
Coral Deep: Student of Sarlk.
Dual Hennet: Student of Sarlk.
Field-of-Morning: Student of Sarlk.
Marduk Alkaiser: Student of Sarlk.
Ragara "Fire-Eyed" Simon: Rynel's father. He was adopted by House Ragara.
Senial Red-Eyes: Student of Sarlk.
Tears-Of-Flowers: Student of Sarlk.
"Big" Yen Sehi: Newly retired arms dealer in Prosperous Garden. Potential ally for Rynel. Hulen's new jade serpent sting staff was purchased from him, which enabled him and his family to retire.

Sidereals

Iron Siaka (Chosen of Mars): Sidereal agent in An-Teng. Goaded Sarlk into letting her travel with the Circle long enough to discern their base of operations.

Solars

Tsubasa/Whisper (Zenith): A nearly mute pacifist who is a guest in Hulen's Manse. He traveled with Rynel, Hulen, and Sarlk to Rynel's Manse. He is disgusted by the decadance of the Dynasty.

Spirits

Ascended Elder of Jade, City Father of Jade-Upon-The-River: A god who lost much power when the Fair Folk attacked Jade-Upon-The-River. He now lives comfortably in a temporary housing project belonging to the Bureau of Humanity. Much of his memories of the past up to the Fair Folk attack were erased by whatever alien weapon the Fair Folk used to forcibly rearrange and alter the landscape of Jade-Upon-The-River and surroundings (Damon says it was probably a powerful weapon of the Way grace). He looks like a bipedal lizard.
Janui, Lion Dog: A loyal lion dog who works for the Bureau of Heaven, she acts as both a guide through the vast maze-like building that houses the Bureau and one of the guardians who keeps troublemakers from causing too much trouble. She's actually really nice despite the front desk warning beings about how she eats troublemakers.
Lytek, The Right Hand of Power: The Circle met him in Yu-Shan and got some information out of him he wouldn't have normally shared if it weren't for Rynel's vision of the Great Curse being made.
Unconquered Glory, God of Resting Place of the Unconquered's Gaze: A weak-willed god who has recently been discovered to be the spirit of the Manse. He is a hollow man made of orichalcum. He has spent the millenia drinking himself into a stupor, but has tried to sober up now that the masters of the Manse have returned.

Main Protagonists (First Age)

Jeryl (Twilight): A student of the famous manse architect Kal Bax.
Reverent Blade (Zenith) : A pious priest of the Unconquered Sun who has yet to fall into the hubris of his fellow priests. He has yet to earn a place in the Solar Deliberative.
Urun (Eclipse): An unashamed hedonist and part-time diplomat. Throws great parties. (Storyteller's Note: This character is most likely to become a Deathlord)
Xerious (Dawn): An astute military mind and defense minister for the future city.
