Character Description

A rather cute little boy with black, spikey hair who wears spectacles. Usually wears fairly archaic formalwear.

History

(I need to get the Japanese name to flesh this out) Basically, Conan was once a famous young detective in the Realm. Despite the fact that he was not a Dragon-blood, he was considered to be an unofficial magistrate; the local magistracy knew that he could be counted on to aid them, and possibly even supercede them, if the right Dragon-blooded was not present. One day, however, he crossed on the wrong side of pair of criminals working for a powerful underground organization. They gave him what they believed to be a poison; instead, it youthened him into a small child! After they ran off, Conan Exalted, with vague memories of being one of the last honest Solars in the First Age. Thankfully, an old friend who lived nearby turned out (not really all that coincidentally) to be a Gold-Faction Sidereal master artificer. Conan’s subtle artifacts come from him. Conan managed to ingratiate himself into the household of his secondary school girlfriend (she is going to the House of Bells; she’s a master martial artist, although she does not intend to become a monk); he attends a local primary school while she is away, and subtly aids her outcaste father, one of the local magistrates.

Expanded Backgrounds

Artifacts: 3: Conan has a pair of God-Kicking Boots that also add +5 to his strength for the purposes of any roll

involving his feet (including damge). They’re oricalchum, but concealed to look like normal boots. Conan also

has a neck-garment of some sort- probably an ordinary looking amulet, that, on command, can change his voice into

any other’s- some he’s heard, or one he makes up. Finally, he has a similarly ordinary-looking bracer that fires

darts like those of the Ultimately Useful Tube. None of these artifacts appear enchanted without the aid of

magical sight.

Followers: 2: A number of local noble’s kids nearby follow him around like puppies

Connections (Magistracy): 1: By using his old voice, Conan can occasionally get some form of help from the Magistrates

Allies: 3 Conan has a number of allies; a dragon-blooded woman who has a crush on his adult form, her Outcaste father

(formerly in the magistracy by way of the Legions, but now independent), and a Gold-Faction Sidereal who has somehow set himself up in the heart of the Realm.

Resources: 0 Conan theoretically has access to his parents’ wealth and home, but only indirectly, since he is not the

legal owner and no longer looks like their son. His Sidereal friend helps manage things.
