I'm surprised you didn't go for a jade sling of deadly powress as it is more effective then shurikens, with greater range and damage - accuracy +2, damage +4L, rate 2, range 150, committment 3 motes, 5MM bonus is the same as a powerbow.
Also, said ninja-man should have the poison tree that's in the lore ability. As that ensures that the Lion needs to make his poison resistence roll verse a difficulty equal to ninjaman's lore on every successful hit by the envenomed weapon, success = damage equal to lore, failure equal to double lore. No soak, no lowering it down without some sort of charm... Remember, poisons ARE your friend.
Also, you might want to consider giving ninjaman VBoS, and the S&S wood-dragon claw spell... as Wood-dragon claws as per S&S is an unarmed martial artist's wet-dream come true.
You might also want to get ninja-man a belt of shadow walking as that gives you +2 diff to being spotted~ Haku
- Different strategy. Sling of deadly prowess doesn't stack properly with Hurricane Combat Method or the other Air Dragon stuff, although it is more powerful. Also, the sling has a better rate. VBoS is lovely, but it would turn our fair ninja into a melee fighter, and there are three of those lining up to draw the Lion's attention. This guy is a ranged expert, and he couldn't use VBoS with anything ranged. As for Poison... not a bad idea, that. Will twink the ninja slightly to give him those Charms (forgot they existed, honestly), and the belt. - FrivYeti

- Not really, he would need a turn to pop up immune to everything prana or its equivilant. And he wouldn't know if ninjaman has poison or not... and he won't, not until he gets tagged. Also, I haven't -seen- a canonical charm outside of the sidereal one that allows you to bypass the damage taken by poison. ~ Haku
Ninja Man's strategy, based on what's here and what you wrote on the "Setup" page, is gonna be "can't see me, can't hit me," right? All it will take for the Lion to knock that<i> down will be the Abyssal equivalent of Eye of the Unconquered Sun. NM may be in for a rapid hurt. -- Hapushet
- That will be problematic, but it only halfway shuts him down, and it does take a Simple Charm use (and Willpower). Most of the Solar strategies are based around making the Lion do stuff to bypass them; they can't actually avoid his power, only try to force him to take five different strategies to beat them and thereby wear him out. - FrivYeti
