Sorcerers call upon the Sedurian for its unique expertise in the construction of Manses with warped interior geometries – a process whereby the interior layout does not obey the usual laws of architecture, but instead can behave in any way that can be conceived (and several that cannot). The Sedurian’s payment is simple; it is the first being to attune to the Manse in question, since this gives it access to a place to stay beyond the bounds of Malfeas, a place that he despises as being filled with uncouth, boorish demons who have no appreciation for his art. As the Manses in question were lost or abandoned the Sedurian reclaimed the hearthstones, or returned them to their proper seats, but has otherwise kept himself largely out of Malfeas (except for the five nights of the Calibration). | Sorcerers call upon the Sedurian for its unique expertise in the construction of Manses with warped interior geometries – a process whereby the interior layout does not obey the usual laws of architecture, but instead can behave in any way that can be conceived (and several that cannot). *The “warp-dive” attack of the Sedurian is an offensive use of the twisted geometries that surround the demon. He leaps at the target, appearing to pass through the unfortunate victim, bent space trailing behind him as he does so. These warps strike the target viciously, twisting muscle, ripping bone and rearranging organs as they go – this causes Aggravated damage and bypasses any armour that the target may be wearing. The Sedurian may not perform any other attacks on the turn that he uses the warp-dive (it requires too much concentration), except for any remaining actions from Principle of Motion. The very nature of this attack means that it cannot be blocked or parried, forcing the target to dodge the assault. | *The “warp-dive” attack of the Sedurian is an offensive use of the twisted geometries that surround the demon. The Expressive Soul of the Prince upon the Tower
- by Moxiane
Everyone who has seen the Sedurian agrees that he is, in appearance, a finely-scaled lizard with a crested head, approximately nine feet in length from nose to tail, but this is where the agreement ends, for the Sedurian is a being in constant flux. The colour of his scales and his eyes, the number and length of limbs, size and type of claw, all of these change from moment to moment, seemingly without the Sedurian being aware of it. They also agree that he is a scintillating and engaging conversationalist, erudite and knowledgeable, and with a great ability at small talk (rumour also speaks of a certain appreciation for feminine company).
There are, at present, 17 Manses extant in Creation (or the border-marches of the Wyld) that have had the Sedurian’s hand in their design and construction, and he keeps the hearthstones of three (all long-lost and abandoned in distant corners of the world) mounted in the large crest at the back of his head. These are a Gemstone of Surface Thoughts (Bo3C p.113), a Gem of One Thousand Heavenly Perfumes, and a Gem of Adamant Skin (Exalted p.339)

- Notes
- The “warp-dive” attack of the Sedurian is an offensive use of the twisted geometries that surround the demon.
- The random shifting of limbs and claws that the Sedurian “suffers” from means that, in combat, he is a highly unpredictable foe. One turn he may just be able to scratch a single opponent whereas on the next he can turn into a whirling mass of claws. This effect is handled by the Storyteller rolling a single d10 and halving the result (rounding up) – the number generated is the Rate of the Sedurian's claw attacks. Highly adept at dealing with his continuously changing morphology, the Sedurian can make all of these claw attacks at his full dice pool, although trying to perform other actions (dodging, for example) follow the normal rules for multiple actions.
- The version of Landscape Travel that the Sedurian uses is modified slightly. It is an Instant, Reflexive Charm that for a cost of 4 motes can transport the Sedurian to any point within the attuned Manse he is currently located within (if he is not within a Manse this has no effect and the motes are lost). If he also spends a point of Willpower then the Charm instantly transports the Sedurian to the Hearthstone Chamber of anyDemonsOfTheSecondCircle/I> single Manse to which he is attuned.
