This is a more modern take on Exalted. Note "modern" and not "post-modern". Themes and technology run from maybe 1870 out in the Periphery to November 8, 2000 in the Center. So far, this is exclusively a Dragon Blooded adventure. I don't think I'll get done with all these "books", they're here for organizational porpoises.

This was inspired by a scene I saw once in a Russian movie. Tanks were on manuveurs in the countryside and were going to flatten some poor peasant's fields. Someone ran and got this retired old General, who promptly rode out on a horse, in his nightshirt and put the ever loving fear of God into the Russian soldiers. I loved the strange anachronism, especially because - well, it could easily have happened. This is also inspired by the hopeful spirit of America in the Clinton years, the continous bloodbath of the 20th century, the despair of the interwar period and little bits and pieces from the 19th century just because its too cool not to include.
This is a community project. Feel free to write something. In particular, I've got all the Charm writing I can handle going on over in HumbleLunars. If you write something, please leave a comment or put it on your own page to make it easier to track changes.

MMmmmh... I like this idea... it seems quite interesting. ~ Haku
I think it is a great idea and I would like to participate, but I have a few questions about it.
First of all: What style should it have. Kung-Fu-Action as in the Jackie Chan / Jet Li -Movies? Or more like Anime set in the "modern" world (Noir, X, even Akira)? Or more like in the american movies ? Is it all still asian?
Second: What is First Age Technology like? Is it wonderous technology, that no living Dragon-Blooded is able construct (Examples: teleportation chambers, laser swords and so on (like in the Final Fantasy series). Or is First Age Technology long forgotten medieval Artifacts, which only have the addition of beeing able to create powerful magical effects. I hope the difference between the two is clear. The first version relates to the imagination of a post-modern-technology-First-Age, the second to a lost civilisation, who was able to form magic more easily and naturaly than today, in the second age of men. How rare is First Age Technology? Are there cities build with it's help, that still stand today?
Third: Will it be an online-sourcebook the way HumbleLunars is made? Will there be a section Inspiration?
