Facing a fae using this charm makes one feel as unstable as a ship blown sideways on a huge wave. The fae makes a normal attack using any combat skill; if the attack is parried, the opponent rolls Wits + Resistance with a difficulty of the fae's essence. If he fails, he drops his weapon, as if it were pulled out of his hands. If the attack connects, the opponent makes the same roll with a difficulty of the fae's essence + #HL damage inflicted by the attack. If he fails, he drops his weapon and falls to the ground disoriented for the remainder of the round. Getting up and retrieving one's weapon are two separate actions.
For example, Allad tries to parry Qingu’s attack and fails, taking 2 health levels damage. Allad rolls Wits + Resistance at a difficulty of 9 (Qingu’s essence, 7, + 2 for damage). He fails. Allad is rendered defenseless for the rest of the round and drops his two swords. The next round, he splits his die pool three ways to get up, get his weapons, and dodge.
