It's also been pointed out to me that you can do a lot just by tracking what you can and can't do with destiny planning. When careful future design starts getting results like "Well, we can make Nexus prosper if the Solars commit *these* atrocities, but it will wither if they commit these *other* atrocities, and if they just blow up the Imperial Mountain so that stone rains down over the Blessed Isle and kills every child under the age of three, then Nexus is probably going to be same-old same-old", one may catch on to the fact that the Solars are going to be a problem.
