For reference, I tend to think of the fateThus_Spake_Zaraborgstrom/MA combination not as "the martial arts use fate" but "the martial arts are *like* fate."

It's like with Lunars and porcupines. The Lunars can manifest and throw spines; they don't manifest and throw porcupines.

Sidereals don't and in fact can't manipulate fate with martial arts Charms. That's why there aren't any TN reducers in Sidereal martial arts. What they can do is do martial arts effects that are "like" fate manipulation. Basically, the things they do with martial arts _feel_ like fate manipulation to them. They're manipulating their Essence flows with the same "touch" they normally use for fate manipulation. Most Charms are kind of raw force. Fate handling and martial arts are more integrated, holistic, metaphorical, and patterned, relating to personality more and to power less. Sorcery is both: you manipulate massive raw power with a fine and delicate touch.
