The thing about short non-expandable trees is, the advantage and the disadvantage aren't directly comparable.
The advantage: fast access to good Charms.\\ The disadvantage: no access at all to many Charms.
See? If you say 'prerequisites are part of Charm power', then the advantage applies to individual Charms, while the disadvantage doesn't---no one ever writes lists of effects Sidereals *don't* have. But the truth is, they're two sides of a coin.
