Six Radiant Stars is famous for his portraits, despite only graduating very recently from the Orinas Colors Academy -- and no wonder, given his skill. He’s quickly become famous and rich enough to be able to choose his customers, something that’s made him very happy.
Prior to getting into the Academy, he was an unknown. No one can remember him from before then, and he refuses to say what his life was like. His only comment is that he finds all the speculations amusing, and sees no need to stop them.
Six Radiant Stars is known for his sense of humor as much as his artistic skill, and he has been known to play jokes on his clients such as replacing his own portraits with ones done by Cassio Valn and only revealing the joke after the subject becomes utterly distraught. He is also known for his derogatory attitudes towards the arrogant, especially very arrogant nobles. Despite this attitude, he gets almost constant petitions from these very people for portraits, almost all of which he turns down.
No one knows where he lives, but the studio he works out of is in the Boulevard of Hopes and Dreams in the Nexus District. According to the Scuttlebutt, it is on the site of an ancient shrine, and Six Radiant Stars himself is somehow associated with this shrine.
One can easily determine what the rest of the city thinks of this.
Rumours
- The reason Six Radiant Stars can turn down so many portrait commissions is that he has discovered a way of pulling objects such as food and money from his paintings, explaining his great wealth.
- Six Radiant Stars is the illegitimate son of an extremely powerful member of Nexus society and a prostitute at the Rose, and his mysterious history has been thoroughly covered up.
Secret
- Six Radiant Stars is actually a god (the God of Unfulfilled Idle Desires) who takes power from the constant worship of all the people who want but don’t get portraits from him. He uses all his power to encourage this, which is why he can say whatever he likes. He really does dislike arrogance and have a huge sense of humor, however. His studio is on the site of an old shrine once dedicated to him.
