Charm Shattering Rose

  • Cost: 5 motes, 1 WP
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 4
  • Prerequisite Charms: Unfailing Bishonen Thrown

The Bishonen hurls a rose at his chosen target. An on-going charm or Terrestrial sorcery effect of his choice will be disrupted on a successful hit if he rolls successes equal to the Moe of the Charm user or Sorcery caster with his Moe + Thrown. The effect is dispelled harmlessly; any motes committed to it quietly fade away.

Far Flying Fang

  • Cost: 1 mote / multiple
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 1
  • Prerequisite Charms: Graceful Bishonen Thrown

The Bishonen puts more power into his throw, sending his thrown weapon further. He may add the base range of the weapon to its base range for every mote spent; he can spend up to his Thrown in motes.

Arcing Toss

  • Cost: 2 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Far Flying Fang

The Bishonen infuses a bit of his Moe into his thrown weapon, causing it to turn and twist and bend to avoid obstacles. This removes all cover penalties from his throw.

Fluttering Bumblebee Strike

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Arcing Toss

The Bishonen imbues his weapon with Moe, causing it to flutter about erratically like an insect in a breeze. This renders the attack undodgeable, though he still has to actually hit.

Stealthy Thrown Strike

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Arcing Toss

The Bishonen imbues his weapon and almost casually tosses it. It takes cover and sneaks around, finally popping up and striking his target from another direction than his own, assuming he actually hits, which he still has to roll for.

Blow of Betrayal

  • Cost: 5 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Stealthy Thrown Strike

The Bishonen hurls his weapon, imbuing it with Moe. It curves around, generating an illusion; the target will see the attack as if one of his allies had just attacked him, while seeing the Bishonen as engaged in other, innocent actions. Only charms to see through illusions will defeat this.

Fistful of Blades

  • Cost: 4 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Extra Action
  • Minimum Thrown: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Graceful Bishonen Thrown

Seizing several thrown weapons at once, the Bishonen can attack a single target with up to his Thrown worth of weapons, rolling once for all the attacks, which must be defended against separately.

Deadly Hail

  • Cost: 2 motes/ attack, 1 WP
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Extra Action
  • Minimum Thrown: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Fistful of Blades

The Bishonen may unleash up to his Thrown worth of thrown attacks, divided among one or more targets as he desires.

Improve Blade

  • Cost: 1 mote
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 1
  • Prerequisite Charms: Graceful Bishonen Thrown

This improves your thrown weapon into an excellent weapon for this shot, with the usual benefits. If it's already excellent (or an artifact), it gains the usual benefits of an excellent thrown weapon added to its usual capacities at your discretion.

Always Armed

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: One Scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Thrown: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Improve Blade

Activating this charm enables you to throw as many copies of a thrown weapon in your possession as you desire, within the normal Rate or charm limits. The thrown weapons are an exact copy of a thrown weapon in your possession. This can only duplicate mundane weapons, but it can duplicate excellent ones.

Precision Impact Prana

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Improve Blade

Your blade strikes precisely the best spot to hurt someone; if you hit your target, your minimum damage dice rises to your Thrown.

Impacting Meteor Strike

  • Cost: 5 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Thrown: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Precision Impact Prana

On a successful hit, your thrown weapon radiates an explosion that inflicts the same damage as your weapon's impact over a radius of your Moe in yards. Everyone within the radius must dodge or block the attack or be hit for the same damage as your main target.

Comments

I really like a lot of these. A bit 'thin', in that comboes are virtually required, but still solid charms. Clarification would be quite helpful on the charm 'Fistful of Blades' - suppose I activate an excellency-type-charm, to add 5 dice to my attack. Since it's one attack, it applies to all of them, yes? What about some theoretical 'explosively destructive weapon' charm, that applies the base damage from the attack to everyone in Moe yards? (Or any supplemental, for that matter?) -- GreenLantern, who thinks thrown needs more love in the Core books

Uhhh, seven of the charms are Supplemental. ^^;;; AS for Fistful of Blades, you are correct, as it's a single roll for all attacks. And the idea for an explosive charm reminds me to add some damage augmenters, danke! -- JohnBiles
