The maiden's claw is a baneclaw constructed out of starmetal; the designer is unknown. It possesses five tines, instead of the standard two, each one lacquered in the colour of one of the maidens. The central blade is a stiletto-thin spike of starmetal around a wire of adamant. The wire channels power from the victims of the weapon; the user may spend three motes to reduce the dexterity + martial arts pool of its victim by one, and increase the same pool of the wielder by one, for the duration of the scene. Only one instance of this ability may be active at once, and if the target dies, the bonus is lost.
