This bauble, a jade and gold necklace with intricate handiwork, captures the eye of any who look upon it. It is excessively distracting, and draws the eye away from the face of its wearer. This focus on the gem distracts targets from the bearer, preventing them from focusing on the appearence of the wearer. The wearer's appearance has no effect on social combat; it will not raise or lower the MDVs of anyone that they are in social combat with. The wearer will likewise not have his MDV raised or lowered by a target's appearance.
This artifact has no effect against charms even so simple as an appearance excellency, and must be visible to have an effect.
