Dark Puppet of Secrets Style

This style represents the Sidereal's understanding of secrets and the control gained from them , and how that extends to afterlife. Although it is quite week for Sidereal level , it is cheap and was designed for heavy combo use. It has an early week form and a final strong one.

Knowing the Secret

Cost: 3 motes 
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflesive
Minimum Martial Arts: 4
Minimun Essence: 5
Perequisite Charms: None
"I know and understand myself, "

The character wins innitiative for this turn and waits for all players to declear their actions before the turn begins. Enemies cannot abort to parry/dodge or use charms they haven't decleared. They must make the exact actions they stated

Believing the Secret

Cost: 4 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflesive
Minimum Martial Arts: 4
Minimun Essence: 5
Perequisite Charms: None

The character assumes a semi dematerialized form for a few seconds , negating damage from attacks made from normal weapons. 5MM weapons make their damage bonus / 2 rounded up. Minimun essence rules don't apply. Damage made from pure essence is full.

Haunting Secret Form

Cost: 4 motes , 1 Willpower
Duration: Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Martial Arts: 5
Minimun Essence: 5
Perequisite Charms: Beleiving the Secret , Knowing the Secret
"I awake to this world, "

Being aware that no secret can be hidden from him , the character is filled with confidence. He adds his essence score to his attack and parry rolls and his initiative , and substracts it from his opponents defences.

Sharing the Secret

Cost: 3 motes

Type: Reflexive

Minimun Essence: 5
Perequisite Charms: Haunting Secret Form

A character's ally gains the benefits of Haunting Secret Form for his essence rating turns (not the character's). The character must be able to see him for the charm to work. The motes are commited.

Spreding Lies Strike

Cost: 6 motes 
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Martial Arts: 6
Minimun Essence: 6
Perequisite Charms: Haunting Secret Form

All opponents in the area (characters essence rating * 10 in yards) take damage equal to the damage inflicted with the character's attack. This damage cannot be soaked with armor.

Master of Secrets in the Court

Cost: 1 Willpower , 10 motes 
Duration: Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Martial Arts: 7
Minimun Essence: 7
Perequisite Charms: Sharing the Secret , Spreding Lies Strike
"filling the world with me, "

The character wins all socialize rolls for the rest of the scene. If a charm prevents this then the character gains essence auto succeses.

Secret Over Ghost Strike

Cost: 1 Willpower , 5 motes 
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Martial Arts: 6
Minimun Essence: 7
Perequisite Charms: Haunting Secret Form
"filling the underworld with me ."

If someone is slain from this attack , his hungry ghost serves the character for his essence rating in days. There is no limit in the number of hungry ghosts the character can control.

Dark Puppet of Secrets Form

Cost: 1 Willpower , 1 dot in Resistance , 10 motes 
Duration: Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Martial Arts: 7
Minimun Essence: 7
Perequisite Charms: Secret Over Ghost Strike , Master of Secrets in the Court , One complete martial arts style
"After all , knowledge is power!"

For the rest of the scene the character gains the benefits of all previous charms in this tree. He can activate those needing activation for free and combo them anyway he wishes. Use of this charm weakens the character a lot (see cost).

Comments

This is certainly an interesting style, but it seems a little strait combat oriented. But then again, it is a martial arts style. However, it could use one or two more "light" combat Charms. Things such as forcing hiden truthes with a touch, or mind manipulating abilites. With a few tweaks like that, this good be a exellent style. Keep up the good work. Jamez
