Some of the most skilled animal trainers and groomsmen seem to share an almost supernatural empathy with the mounts in their care. Through this Charm, an Exalt can gain similar insight into an animal's heart and mind, if only for an instant. Activating this Charm will reduce the required number of successes on a Charisma + Ride roll for training, riding under stress, or pushing a mount (Exalted, pp. 257-258) by the character's Essence rating to a minimum of one.

This Charm can be used as an alternate prerequisite for the Spirit-Steadying Assurances Charm.
