Ssseth- Essence 4 God of the South.
God of Fertility, Longevity and Subtle Revenge.
Description
Ssseth materialises as an enormous Constrictor Snake, fully a metre wide and 30 metres long, with foot long fangs. He is slow to wake, implacable, ageless and patient beyond measure. A moderately benevolent god, his Cult exists to keep him in Ambrosia in Heaven, in return he grants special worshippers long life and fertility and occasionally vengeance by cursing their enemies or sending serpents to slither into their foes homes.
In combat Ssseth coils around his foes, crushing them or biting them with his paralytic poison so that he can then swallow them whole! He is a slow, but strong opponent with thick hide that turns most mortal weapons.
Recently Ssseth fulfilled a long savoured act of revenge by stealing the Immaculate Scrolls which recounted how Hesiesh cast out the Serpents of the South from the Temple. (or how Hesiesh ass-whupped Ssseth back in the Usurpation era)
