This technique, taught by Crimson Banner Executioner, exemplifies the methods of the Harmonious Blade Style. By using the combo, Auspicious Strife attacks relentlessly multiple times, his sword in perfect harmony with the flows of essence around him. Any attacks against him are parried casually, as the sword moves to deflect them between his own blows.



Resplendent Destiny (The Quiver, 100 years, 5 effect points): Karal Malik, god-blooded strategos and advisor to the General Staff, propagates interventionist views. The Resplendent Destiny could have following backgrounds: Arsenal 2 (only in Lookshy, jade daiklave and jade armor on loan), Backing (Seventh Legion) 4, Connections (Seventh Legion) 3, Manse 1 (in Lookshy, Stone of Quick Thought, BoTC p111), Retainers 1.

Resplendent Destiny (The Key, 1 year, 3 effect points): Egon of the Inquiring Eye, the wandering scholar in search of heaven
The savant known as Egon of the Inquiring Eye hails from the Scavenger Lands. He is knowing in the ways of the little gods and often searches for the mystical gates that lead to the celestial city of Yu-Shan. While roaming the Blessed Isle he has made some useful connections to the All-Seeing Eye. This gets him occasionally to act as if he had the backing of the Eye wherever he goes.

Resplendent Destiny (The Spear, 20 years, 6 effect points [3 left]): Stark "Red Dog" Lans, seasoned mercenary from the north
Stark Lans comes from the northern lands, but has travelled so much that there is no longer any place he considers his home. Over twenty years of battle have left their mark to the man, who is often called "Red Dog" by his fellow mercenaries. The years haven't made him rich, however, and so Red Dog still keeps selling his skills to those in need, hoping to find enough money for settling down or dying for some noble cause.

Resplendent Destiny (The Ship's Wheel, 1 year, 1 effect point): Gray Lurker, a vagabond and a beggar
Gray Lurker was forced to poverty after he wounded in war and was swindled out of his pension. Wearing a gray, shaggy cloak on his shoulders and a belt of rope on his waist, this silent wanderer was always looking like he hadn't slept for ages.

Serenity's Nail, a starmetal spirit sword from Venus herself (Spd +2, Acc +2, Dam +4 (+6 for starmetal, +12 against spirits, Def +2, Rate 5, commitment 5m). Has the additional ability of being able to be sent elsewhere and retrieved from same as a reflexive action and a 1 mote expenditure. Engravings glow red when dematerialized beings are present. If elsewhere, the range is reduced to your Essence x2 (=6) yards, but it still works, causing a prickly sensation on the back of Strife's neck. The weapons need to be wielded to perceive dematerialized beings.
