Description
Above all else, Leda yearns to be a heroine of the Realm, joined in purpose and oaths with likeminded comrades.
Painfuly shy as a child, she loathed the bickering of classmates, and after her exaltation the petty battles over status grew only worse. Left to her own devices, the adolescent Leda would have simply withdrawn deeper into her books and daydreams. Instead she was blessed with parents and instructors who drove home the necessity of allies and connections. While she has by no means developed into social individual, she has at least advanced herself somewhat in the political skills needed to survive amidst the Realm’s intrigues.
An unashamed idealist, Leda sees the Dragon-Blooded officers of the Scarlet Empire’s legions as the highest expression of nobility and worldly personal development. Like many of her generation, she has little idea of how corrupt her nation has become, nor just how badly the great houses have compromised its military.
Leda is a diligent scholar of The Thousand Correct Actions of the Upright Soldier as well as of military affairs in general. If given time, she has the potential to develop into a fearsome officer.

Other Notes
Leda possess a jade amulet with a Monkey Stone Hearthstone which lowers all athletic difficulties by -2. Additionally, the stone doubles her climbing and swimming speeds as well as her jumping distance. In combat she can be a nightmarish combination of a heavily armored and yet highly mobile opponent who can deal heavy damage in single strikes. Her primary weaknesses are her relatively spare Essence pools and an unyielding self confidence, which may yet spur her on into a moment of regrettable rashness.
