History & Personality -

Raised just outside of Azure, Kyra grew used to being treated badly because she was a woman. Although just because she grew used to it didn't mean she couldn't push through it! Born to a single mother who was constantly gone making money for the two of them Kyra was alone almost all of the time and wanted nothing more than to be able to play hide-and-go-seek with the boys and feel accepted. Sadly that never happened, but luckily for her she learned by observing the populace and began to use her good looks and natural social skills to get what she wanted whenever she wanted it. Her true passion as it turns out was to sing and play for the masses and at the age of 15 she landed a job playing for tips at a local bar. As her skills were honed by the constant playing people began to take notice of her and one day a guildsman offered her something she couldn't refuse. The guildsman offered her a carrer as a star! He took her and her mother (now very well aged) into Azure and paid for the best instructor they could find. Soon enough she was preforming everywhere in Azure, and then she went on tour. While on their last stop before going back home she failed...final preformance and she bombed it! The guildsman, outraged, left her with almost nothing and disappeared. In a fit of emotion Kyra ran until she could no longer run paying no attention to her surroundings, and when she finally stopped running she did the only thing she knew to do and sang her heart out and poured her soul into her guitar. When she finally stopped she had the brilliant mark of a Zenith on her forehead and was standing in a forgotten manse all at the young age of 18.

Kyra has a definite chip on her shoulder after being slighted by a guildsman and ditched far from her home. While this definitely affects her actions towards the Guild shes moved on since then, keeping herself busy by playing for large audiances. Kyra is honest...way too honest, the only reason this hasn't gotten her into trouble is because people just find her way too loveable to stay mad at her. She seems to be caught in the rebellious teen mindset but it works for her (generally). Kyra never really payed much attention to education unless it came to her ability to preform, in which case she is super willing to learn. To her 'smart' people are just annoying nerds that were spoiled as children. While she is totally used to using her amazing looks to get what she wants she values herself highly and stays relatively pure. Alot of her songs tend to be 'Fun in the Sun' (with some attitude) kinda things so she can do her job as a Zenith and spread the word to the people.

Possessions -

The Hypnotizing Serpents Belt is made of entwined strips of leather and some gleaming strands of silver that seem to make it shimmer while not being totally obvious. Its quite large and hangs across one hip (its more for looks than praticality). Mecanichally it adds two automatic sucess on preformance rolls giving her a good chance of entrancing large audiances with little difficulty and small crowds easily. Her Orichalcum Hearthstone Bracers add to her dodge DV and also hold the Sphere of Courtesans' Constellation which lowers the difficulty of social rolls by 2 which is just awsome when combined with her belt.

Playing tips -

While Kyra almost always bring the party wherever she goes shes not much of a fighter. If it ever comes to a fight use Striking Cobra Technique to make sure you move first and stay out of the fight as long as possible with either Monkey Leap Technique or Graceful Crane Stance depending on the situation. Kyra is a powerful back-up figher and can reliably drop some extras to keep combat clear for the 'big guns'. While it goes against her love for people she will kill in order to protect her friends, in cases like this activate Snake Form. Against other Exalts....dont even try if their combat focused, if targeted use Seven Shadow Evasion against big blows and Shadow Over Water if your dodge DV gets too low. If you get hit use Durability of Oak Meditation and hope you can soak it. Well now thats all for combat and shes pretty much covered with her social awsomeness. Just remeber Kyra is a nice girl and loves what she does (preforming) if you ever start getting bored just start dancing in the middle of the street shes almost guaranteed to drag intrest out of people, if your scared her crowd pleasing powers aren't enough just use her preformance excellency and if the crowds too dull use Heart-Compelling Method to make them party hard.
