Anyone hit by these evil weapons has their throat gagged and the mouth covered by the hungry shadow souls that continually writhe around the weapon. Effectively this means they cannot scream, shout, speak or in any way make any noise. This effect will last for a turn or until the weapon is removed from the victim, whichever is longer.

In addition to sapping essence in the usual manner of Soulsteel weapons, the Blades-Of-Hungry-Shadowsouls return this essence to their owner. Also regardless of whether the knives wound or not, the Shadowsouls gagging the hapless victim will steal one point of essence (in addition to those from wounding) from the victim and return it to their owner.

If they silence the victim for one turn or until removed, what's the point of being returning? Surely that would mean they are never in a victim for more than a fraction of a second? And, is it a set of three weapons? Or one weapon that can return fast enough to be thrown three times? What do they look like? Just a few questions that popped into my head as I put this entry up...
