Dikanchou Dayang, God of actions that resist the pull of fate
All true heroes have that special blessing within them, that ability to go beyond what is normally possible: To perform acts of heroism that defy the teeth of fate itself. Such people are the domain of Dikanchou Dayang, The patron of those that move against the tide of fate. It is he wh owatches with a critical eye those who would quail against his destinies, and the sensations of empowerment, of reward, are his marks of approval.
In appearance, he is tall, and an aura shines forth from his emerald eyes that makes it plain: He is better than you in all ways. By comparison, your voice could do with some work, your style just isn't quite right, your actions lack a certain panache: Whatever 'it' is, he has it: He is it. In all respects, he is unique to the viewer, save one: While he will always appear to you as one who is just that little bit better than you, He may always be recognised by his eyes: Shaded as they are by glasses of tinted, blackened glass, that the pure brilliance of his unestimable prowess will not cause you to fall and weep at his feet, as one undeserving of his presence.
Dikanchou's attitude to the current age is one of glee. Triumph and chaos, war and carnage, these are all rich grounds wherein a Hero might form: All maelstroms of fate that encourage resistance. The return of the Solars, too, has done naught but improve his pleasure: For not only do such paragons of heroism exemplify his domain, but their very presence insigates others to do the same.
What is better, for a god of heroic deeds, that a time of such trouble and strife, where everyone needs a hero? He would have the current age last forever.
This, of course, makes his politics interesting: For such an attitude is hardly a popular one. Instead, from his position in the Bureau of humanity he maintains studious neutrality in any debate, balancing his favours in order to bring all sides as close to parity as he can - he can hardly show a preference, or so he says, and nmust treat everyone equally. Or at least, make them as equal as he dares...
Dikanchou is well liked by those who know him better, but his very nature has earned him many powerful enemies: While lesser gods might be blinded by that special something, wiser heads know the damage a hero can do to carefully laid plans.

- Touch of Heroism: For a cost of 10 motes, Dikanchou can turn any extra he is aware of into a Heroic mortal for the rest of the scene. This does not change their abilities or attributes, But gives them a full complement of health levels, allows them to use the rule of 10 and stunt, and adds 2 to their valor for purposes of resisting fear or throwing themselves into danger.
** Anyone who survives a strike by Destruction of Mediocrity MUST stunt every turn for the remainder of the combat: if they cannot stunt, then they cannot act. The Mediocre are not worthy of a fight wwith He who makes a Hero.
*** Pulling down the tinted glasses that shade his gaze from the world, Dikanchou unleashes the full force of his Heroic Aura: This is an attack that cannot be defended against, period, without a stunt. Should it hit, the victim will spend a number of turns equal to (Successes scored - - conviction) on his knees, defeated and broken in the knowledge that he Is Not Worthy to even be in the presence of such a figure, let alone fight him.

I was hoping for... well, let me make it blatant: I'm not quite happy with the effects of Awe-striking glance, since it essentially removes a character from play for a few turns, which.. is, on further thought, against his theme, and dull for the player. Any suggestments for amendments? - Molikai
