This Kata creates a Holy blast from a firewand, supplementing a single attack to allow it to be made without ammunition. The attack is Holy, and lights the target and everything within the Martial Artist's Essence in yards from the target on fire. Each tick after a successful attack, the target and all flammable materials or nearby characters take (Essence)L dice of lethal damage per tick, and remain on-fire until no damage dice roll successful damage for that target. Additionally, for each action that a character remains affected by the magical fire, he must roll Stamina + Resistance at a difficulty of the Martial Artist's Essence, or spend that action Inactive.

I do wonder, how come "Caress of the Thousand Hells" got such a significant nerf? -Azurelight
- It was late, and I misread the text. -Ialdabaoth
- I think it is better now, but it's still very diffrent from the original. yours has a much greater chance of incapacitating the target, and if I read it corectly, it hits more targets. on the other hand, the soaked damage is less then the original, but it is per tick instead of turn. is it saokable?
Not that this is a bad thing. I'd just like you to explain your thouts about the changes. -Azurelight
I'm reading two changes: the area of effect (which I might just not have seen before in the text), and that the attack is Holy instead of automatically Aggravated. However, the burning has been made Holy too, as opposed to before where the initial blast was Aggravated and the later burning only Lethal. It's not a bad change. - IanPrice
